Learn everything that you need to know about Bibarel in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!
Pokemon Legends: Arceus took place in the early days of the Pokemon universe when humans and Pokemon coexisted roughly. This game takes place in the Hisui area of the Pokemon universe, which was later renamed the Sinnoh region.
To complete Hisui’s first Pokédex, which they use to study Pokemon, the player must capture all of the Pokémon found in this region.
The player will be assigned to join the Galaxy Expedition Team (commonly known as the Galaxy Team) as a member of the Survey Corps at Jubilife Village. This group is in charge of researching every Pokemon in the area.
In this guide, we will learn everything you need to know about Bibarel in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!!
Bibarel
Bibarel, the eleventh Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Normal and Water-type Beaver Pokemon with a large body, brown fur, a tan round marking on its chest, tufts of fur around its face, a dark brown snout, a small red nose, protruding teeth, two small forepaws with black hands, two larger and more rounded hind paws with black toes and tan paw pads, and a large and black flat tail with a tan marking. Bibarel’s fur, according to its Pokedex entry in the game, is a great material that can repel water and retain heat. Furthermore, Bibarels build dams on rivers to dwell in.
Basic Information
Bibarel is a Normal and Water-type Pokemon, so it has a weakness to Electric-type, Fighting type, and Grass-type moves (super effective), a resistance to Fire-type, Ice-type, Steel-type, and Water-type moves (not very effective), and an immunity to Ghost type moves (no effect).
If the player plans on luring it with food before capturing it, Bibarel’s favorite foods are springy mushrooms, hearty grains, and plump beans.
If the player catches or defeats a Bibarel, the player will obtain a Spoiled Apricorn and an Oran Berry.
Bibarel’s base stats are 79 HP, 85 Attack, 60 Defense, 55 Special Attack, 60 Special Defense, and 71 Speed for a total of 410.
A Bibarel evolved from Bidoof when it reached Level 15.
Location
Bibarel can be found in the following locations in Pokemon Legends: Arceus:
Obsidian Fieldlands: on the shore of Tidewater Dam.
Crimson Mirelands: around Gapejaw Bog, in Droning Meadow, and north of Ursa’s Ring.
Cobalt Coastlands: north of the Spring Path.
Alabaster Icelands: in the west and east of Avalugg’s Legacy.
Bibarel can be found in the locations mentioned above at all times of the day and in every weather condition.
An Alpha Bibarel is located south of Tidewater Dam, on the shore northwest of The Heartwood in the Obsidian Fieldlands, and can also be found in this location at all times of the day and in every weather condition. The Alpha Bibarel found in this location is a Level 16 Pokemon.
Aside from that, the player can find Bibarel in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Obsidian Fieldlands and the Alabaster Icelands.
Research Tasks
The following are the Research Tasks in Bibarel’s Pokedex entry:
Multiplier | Research Task | Objectives |
x2 | Number caught | 1/3/6/12/25 |
x2 | Number of alpha specimens caught | 1/2/3/4/5 |
Number defeated | 1/3/6/12/20
Times you’ve seen it use Hydro Bite | 1/3/6/12/25
x2 | Times you’ve seen it use Aqua Tail | 1/3/6/12/25 |
Times you’ve seen it use a strong style move | 1/3/6/12/25
Number of different forms you’ve obtained | 2 |
The player must accomplish several electives for a particular Research Task to raise Bibarel’s Research Level by one, except for the Research Tasks with an x2 multiplier, which raises two Research Levels for accomplishing one objective. The player must reach Research Level 10 to complete Bibarel’s Pokedex entry.
To quickly complete Bibarel’s Pokedex entry, the player can catch the Alpha Bibarel in Tidewater Dam in the Obsidian Fieldlands, which ticks the first objective of the ‘number caught’ and ‘number of alpha specimen caught’ Research Tasks with both having x2 multipliers.
Hence, it immediately raises the Research Level to 4 and lets it use Aqua Tail in strong style three times, which ticks the first and second objective of the ‘times you have seen it use Aqua Tail’ and the ‘times you have seen it use a strong style move’ Research Tasks with the former having an x2 multiplier. Hence, it adds 6 Research Levels to reach Research Level 10.
