Pokemon Legends: Arceus Ultimate Luxray Guide

In the early years of the Pokémon universe, when humans and Pokemon did not get along, is when Pokemon Legends: Arceus was set.

This game is set in the Hisui region of the Pokemon world, later renamed Sinnoh. The player must catch every Pokémon in this region to fill out Hisui’s first Pokédex, which they use to research Pokemon.

At Jubilife Village, the player will be assigned to the Survey Corps of the Galaxy Expedition Team (also referred to as the Galaxy Team).

It is the responsibility of this Survey Corps to conduct local Pokemon research. In this guide, you will learn everything you need to know about Luxray in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!

Luxray

Luxray, the seventeenth Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is an Electric type Gleam Eyes Pokemon with a black and light blue body that resembles a lion, a blue face, a pair of eyes with red sclerae and yellow pupils, a small red nose, round blue ears with yellow insides, a black mane on its head, a black neck, a blue torso, four legs with the back of its front legs colored blue and with three yellow stripes and the lower front and whole back of its hind legs also colored blue, a furry rear, and a long, black, and thin tail with a yellow four-pointed star on the tip.

When Luxray’s eyes sparkle with gold, the legend shows it can see through anything. According to its Pokedex entry, Luxrays form packs in the game, with each pack led by a male Luxray.

Basic Information

Luxray is a Steel and Ground-type Pokemon. It has a weakness to Ground-type moves (super effective) and resistance to Electric-type, Flying-type, and Steel-type activities (not very effective).

Luxray prefers Springy Mushrooms, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans if the player tries to tempt it with food before catching it.

The player will receive a Spoiled Apricorn and a Cheri Berry if a Luxray is caught or defeated.

Luxray’s base stats are 80 HP, 120 Attack, 79 Defense, 95 Special Attack, 95 Special Defense, and 70 Speed, for a total of 523.

A Luxray evolved from Luxio when it reached Level 30, which evolved from Shinx when it reached Level 15.

Location

Luxray can be found in the following locations in Pokemon Legends: Arceus:

An Alpha Luxray is located in the Sacred Plaza (west of Celestica Ruins or east of Moonview Arena) in the Coronet Highlands and can also be found in the area mentioned at all times of the day and in every weather condition. The Alpha Luxray found in this location is a Level 55 Pokemon.

Research Tasks

The following are the Research Tasks in Luxray’s Pokedex entry:

To complete Luxray’s Pokedex entry, the player needs to reach Research Level 10.

To quickly complete Luxray’s Pokedex entry, the player can catch two Luxrays, which ticks the first and second objective of the ‘number caught’ Research Task, which has an x2 multiplier, so it immediately raises the Research Level to 4, use one of the Luxrays in battle the use Crunch three times, which ticks the first and second objective of the ‘times you have seen it use Crunch’ Research Task and adds two more Research Levels, and use Thunder Fang three times, which ticks the first and second objective of the ‘times you’ve seen it use Thunder Fang’ Research Task and adds two more Research Levels, to reach Research Level 10.
