The player of Pokemon Legends: Arceus is in the Hisui region, which was the original name for Sinnoh in the Pokemon universe.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus Ultimate Raichu Guide

The player must capture every Pokemon in the Hisui region to complete the first Pokedex, which is used to learn Pokemon.

The player will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (also known as the Galaxy Team) as a member of the Survey Corps, tasked with researching all of the Pokemon in the Hisui region.

This guide will discuss everything you need to know about Raichu!

Raichu

Raichu, the 57th Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is an Electric type Mouse Pokemon with dark orange fur, a white belly, a pair of brown ears and yellow insides, a pair of black eyes, and white pupils, a small black nose, a wide mouth, a pair of yellow circles on its cheek, a pair of stubby hands with brown tips, a pair of feet with four toes on each fit that are brown colored tips and cream-colored soles with a yellow circle marking, and a long, thin tail with a lightning bolt at the end.

According to its Pokedex entry in the game, Raichu’s tail is used to collect electricity from the atmosphere and search for electricity on the ground. Also, Raichu can discharge bursts of electricity that exceed 100,000 volts, which can knock out a Copperajah.

Basic Information

Raichu is an Electric-type Pokemon which means it has a weakness to Ground-type moves (super effective) and a resistance to Electric-type, Flying-type, and Steel-type moves (not very effective).

Raichu’s base stats are 60 HP, 90 Attack, 55 Defense, 90 Special Attack, 80 Special Defense, and 110 Speed, for a total of 485.

Raichu can be evolved from a Pikachu using a Thunder Stone, and a Pikachu is evolved from a Pichu once it reaches a High Friendship Level.

Raichu likes Springy Mushroom, Dazzling Honey, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans, which are useful when the player feeds food to lure it before catching it.

The player will get a Seed of Mastery and an Exp. Candy L after a Raichu is caught or defeated in the wild.

Location

Raichu can be only found in the following area:

In the Crimson Mirelands: on top of a cliff north of the Golden Lowlands.

The Raichu that can be found above is an Alpha Pokemon and can be found here at all times of the day and in every weather condition. To reach the area, the player must first unlock Sneasel as a Ride Pokemon to climb cliffs. The Alpha Raichu is a Level 52 Pokemon.

Aside from that, Raichu may also be found in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

Research Tasks

The following are the Research Tasks in Raichu’s Pokedex entry:

MultiplierResearch TaskObjectives
x2Number caught1/2/4/6/10
x2Number of alpha specimen caught1/2/3
Number defeated1/2/4/6/10
Number you’ve defeated with Ground type moves1/2/4/6/10
Times you’ve seen it use Iron Tail1/3/8/20/40
x2Times you’ve seen it use Thunder1/2/4/10/15
Times you’ve seen it use an agile style move1/2/4/10/15
Number of different forms you’ve obtained2

To finish a Pokemon’s Pokedex entry, the player must have it reach Research Level 10. To gain a Research Level, the player must complete an objective from one of the Research Tasks. Completing a Research Tasks objective with an x2 multiplier will add two Research Levels.

To quickly complete Raichu’s Pokedex entry, the player must catch the Alpha Raichu in the Crimson Mirelands twice, which ticks the first and second objectives of the “number caught” and “number of alpha specimen caught” Research Task to raise the Research Level to 8 thanks to both of their x2 multipliers and use one in battle and let it use Thunder, which ticks the first objective of the “Times you have seen it use Thunder” Research Task to gain two more Research Levels, to reach Research Level 10.
