Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set when humans and Pokemon were at odds in the early days of the Pokémon universe. This game is set in the Hisui area of the Pokemon world, which was eventually renamed the Sinnoh region. The player must capture every Pokemon in this region to complete Hisui’s first Pokédex, which is used to learn about Pokémon. The player will be a member of the Jubilife Village Survey Corps of the Galaxy Expedition Team (often referred to as the Galaxy Team), tasked with researching the Pokemon in the region.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus Ultimate Rapidash Guide

In this guide, we will learn everything you need to know about Rapidash!

Rapidash

Rapidash, the 24th Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Fire-type Fire Horse Pokemon with cream-colored fur, a pair of small red eyes, a pointed horn on its forehead that are also cream-colored, four legs with black hooves on each, and yellow and reddish-orange flames on the back of its head, on its backside that looks like a fiery tail, and on each of its legs. Rapidash, according to its Pokedex entry in the game, darts across the land like an arrow due to its fiery mane, and Rapidash is so fast that it can traverse the entire Hisui Region in just a day and a half.

Basic Information

Rapidash is a Fire-type Pokemon which means it has a weakness to Ground-type, Rock-type, and Water-type moves (super effective) and a resistance to Bug-type, Fairy-type, Fire-type, Grass-type, Ice-type, and Steel-type moves (not very effective).

Rapidash’s base stats are 65 HP, 100 Attack, 70 Defense, 80 Special Attack, 80 Special Defense, and 105 Speed for a total of 500.

Rapidash evolved from a Ponyta when it reaches Level 40.

Rapidash prefers Hearty Grains, Springy Mushrooms, and Plump Beans if the player wishes to try to lure it with food before catching it.

When a Rapidash is defeated or captured, the player receives a Seed of Mastery and an Exp. Candy M.

Location

Rapidash can only be found in the following location:

Obsidian Fieldlands: in the northeastern part of Horseshoe Plains.

It is also important to mention that the Rapidash found here is a Level 40 Alpha Pokemon.

The Rapidash can be found in the location mentioned at all times of day but only when the weather is clear, cloudy, or with strong sunlight.

Aside from that, the player can find Rapidash in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Obsidian Fieldlands and the Coronet Highlands and inside Space-Time Distortions.

Research Tasks

The following are the Research Tasks in Rapidash’s Pokedex entry:

MultiplierResearch TaskObjectives
x2Number caught1/2/4/10/15
x2Number of alpha specimens caught1/2/3
Number defeated1/2/4/6/10
The number you’ve defeated with Water-type moves1/2/3
Times you’ve seen it use Fire Blast1/3/8/20/40
Times you’ve seen it use a strong style move1/3/8/20/40

Except for the objectives with a multiplier of x2, which raises two Research Levels for completing one, the player must complete a goal for a given Research Task to boost Rapidash’s Research Level by one. By reaching Research Level 10, the player can complete Rapidash’s entry in the Pokedex.

To quickly complete Rapidash’s Pokedex entry, the player can catch the Alpha Rapidash two times, which ticks the first and second objective of the ‘number caught’ and several alpha specimens caught’ Research Tasks.

Hence, it immediately raises the Research Level to 8 because of their x2 multiplier, then defeat another Alpha Rapidash using a Water-type move, which ticks the first objective of the ‘number defeated’ and ‘number you have defeated with Water-type moves’ Research Tasks to add two more Research Levels, to reach Research Level 10.

The player can spawn another Alpha Rapidash after catching or defeating it by resetting the map. This can be done by heading back to Jubilife Village and then to where the Alpha Rapidash is located.
