Sifu was the surprise hit from Sloclap that came out back in February, and while fans are having fun modding different characters into the game, the devs have released a roadmap giving us an idea at what’s to come to the game for the rest of 2022.
Here’s the official post:
For the spring update, players will be given some difficulty options in which they can pick between Student, Disciple, and Master, and they can also opt for advanced training as well as outfit selection.
The rest of the year will add some special gameplay modifiers and updated scoring, and we can also expect a replay editor as well as new game mode come winter called Arenas. Throughout the year, expect some new drip for your Sifu as well just to not keep their looks fresh.
Sifu is the new game of Sloclap, the independent studio behind Absolver. A third person action game featuring intense hand-to-hand combat, it puts you in control of a young Kung-Fu student on a path of revenge. Sifu is set against a detailed backdrop of a fictional Chinese city where players uncover an ancient mystery via a series of difficult confrontations that test their skills to the limit.
To overcome seemingly insurmountable odds, fighters need to rely on a mastery of Kung Fu and a magical pendant that revives them after death. The cost of magic is dear, however, and drastically ages a fighter with each revival: time is the price paid for revenge.
Sifu is now available for PlayStation 4|5 and PC via the Epic Games Store.
