How to Open The Garage Door Near Jacks Inn
In Silent Hill 2 Remake, you can open the garage door in two instances: before reaching the Brookhaven Hospital and after obtaining the Historical Society Key for the secret of room 106.
Find the Jack Lever in Octantis Fuels
After checking the wedged garage jack in Silent Hill 2 Remake, head west of Nathan Ave. until you reach the Octantis Fuels. It’s a gas station along the road with a car parked in front of the fuel pump.
- Head to the back of the Gas Station
- Look for a Green Car
- Examine the Floor Jack wedge under the car.
- Retrieve the Jack Lever.
After retrieving the jack lever, the floor jack will give in and drop the car, resulting in a loud noise. If you’re doing this garage puzzle BEFORE reaching Brookhaven Hospital, the noise will attract some enemies, so be cautious. If this happened AFTER Brookhaven Hospital and you’ve already obtained the Historical Society Key, enemies will not spawn.
Use the Garage Jack Lever
Return to the Garage Door and examine the wedge floor jack for a prompt to install the jack lever. It will pry the roll-up door more so that James can crawl in. Once inside, you can loot the following items:
