In Spellbreak, Gold is used to buy various cosmetics and participate in some League events. While most players can easily get by without spending any Gold in-game, character customization is a great incentive to progress through the game and maybe even splurge a little by spending some cash.

How to Get Gold in Spellbreak

This article will explain all the ways to get more Gold in Spellbreak.

Getting Gold in Spellbreak

There are five main ways to get more Gold in Spellbreak. Some are easy, others a bit more labor-intensive, and one isn’t free at all.

Purchasing Gold

If you don’t want to spend a lot of time playing the game, the easiest way to get some Gold is to buy it in the game store. The game presents you with the “Buy Gold” option just by going into the menu.

There are four different tiers of Gold purchases, which come in unlimited supplies:

  • 1,000 Gold for $9.99
  • 2,800 Gold for $24.99
  • 5,000 Gold for $39.99
  • 13,500 Gold for $99.99

You can also buy one-off packs that provide some Gold and other cosmetic items:

  • Rogue Pack for $4.99 – 500 Gold and a Beguiling Rogue Outfit.
    1 21
  • Aerialist Pack for $31.99 – 500 Gold and an Exquisite Aerialist Outfit.
    3 11
  • Elemental Chapter Pack for $24.99 – 2,800 Gold, the Chapter 3 Pass, and the Adherent of the Elements outfit
    4 7
  • Crackshot Pack for $99.99 – 13,500 Gold, the Chapter 3 Pass with double Reputation, and the Stoic Crackshot and Adherent of the Elements outfits.

Some bundles are limited-time offers and last for the duration of the current Chapter. Tier prices reflect the purchase price at the time of writing, but they’re subject to change at any time.

Getting Gold Through Progression

Playing the game awards, you experience points (EXP) for your overall Mage Level and the Class Mastery Level. The EXP for Class Mastery Levels only counts for the class you equipped as primary at the start of the match and doesn’t give any bonuses for the second class you equip during the match.

There are 50 total Mage Levels, and each gives 50 Gold except for one level. Each of the six Class Masteries has 20 levels, with Gold given at Levels 10, 12, 15, 17, and 19. You receive 100 Gold for Level 10 and 50 Gold for the rest.

In total, this gives you 4,300 Gold to work with just by leveling up your account and all Class Masteries, which is a sizeable sum by itself.

Gold Through Daily Quests

Each day you get a set of Daily Quests to complete for a reward. Daily Quests can be worth 5, 10, or 20 Gold, usually depending on their complexity. You can reroll one Daily Quest each day to get a different one, hopefully, one that awards more Gold.

Daily Quests effectively mean that players have a theoretically infinite supply of Gold, provided they play every day and complete the quest.

Gold Through Tournaments

If you consider yourself a good player, you can also find tournaments that award Gold (and sometimes other rewards, including actual money). These tournaments are typically community-run on various third-party websites.

Before signing up for a tournament, research the platform and people involved in the process carefully. Not all tournaments are legitimate, and some require payment.

However, if you’re good at the game and have a trusted source of tournaments, this is the best way to get some Gold for virtually nothing while enjoying the game.

Going for Gold in Spellbreak

Gold is a useful currency in Spellbreak, and you don’t even have to try hard to get a solid chunk of it to use on cosmetics. However, players with deeper pockets and better gameplay skills will have an easier time amassing it.
