Take advantage of Cypher’s upgraded Trapwire with these one-way setups on Fracture.

VALORANT: Cypher One-way Setups on Fracture

Cypher got a much-needed upgrade in Patch 5.10, which improved his Trapwire and Neural Theft abilities. These abilities weren’t bad before, but Trapwire, in particular, was becoming more and more predictable due to the ability’s limited range, which severely limited setup options for Cypher players.

With Tapwire’s improved range, Cypher mains can now take advantage of one-way smoke setups on maps such as Fracture, which can use Cypher’s ability to hold down multiple spots.

We have compiled some of the best one-way setups for Fracture in this quick Valorant guide.

Fracture A-site One-way

There are three entryways into A-site if you’re an Attacker on Fracture. A-Drop, A-Main, and A-Sands are the lanes you must worry about, making A-site the more challenging lane to Defend on Fracture.

Sentinel Agents like Cypher can easily cover at least two lanes with his Trapwire and Cyber Cage combo. Double down on your A-Drop and A-Sands Trapwires with cheeky one-way Cyber Cages for both areas.

A-Sands One-way Setup

  1. Stand in this corner in A-Rope:
2 27

2. Aim for this corner on the wall above the mechanical door:

3 27

3. Throw Cypher’s Cyber Cage:

4 30

Cypher’s Cyber Cage should land on the mechanical door’s frame:

5 28

Feel free to supplement the one-way setup with a Trapwire.

11 17

A-Drop One-way Setup

  1. Stand in this corner at A-Drop:
7 22

2. Place the right and left tip of the Trapwire and Cyber Cage HUD line on this indent on the wall:

8 19
9 16

3. Throw Cypher’s Cyber Cage:

Place a Trapwire along A-Drop to supplement the one-way setup:

10 16

A-Main One-way Setup

  1. Stand along the A-Main entrance:
13 12

2. Stand closer until you can only see a small gap on the small ledge on the A-Main entrance:

14 10

3. Throw Cypher’s Cyber Cage:

Place a Trapwire along the A-Main entrance to supplement the one-way setup:

16 10

Fracture B-site One-way

Cypher can play B-site on Fracture equally well, and his upgraded Trapwires can easily cover a ton of space along B-Main or B-Arcade.

You can supplement your Trapwires by setting up one-way smokes for B-Main and B-Arcade to help bolster your defensive efforts on this side of Fracture.

B-Main One-way Setup

  1. Stand in this corner in B-site:
17 8

2. Aim for this small line on the B-site wall:

18 10
27 5

3. Throw Cypher’s Cyber Cage:

19 10

This one-way setup is best played from B-Tower, where you can see the enemy players’ feet.

B-Arcade One-way Setup

  1. Stand in this corner by the boxes at B-Arcade:
22 7

2. Place the right tip of the Spy Cam HUD line and the left tip of the Neural Theft HUD line on top of the “08” lettering on the wall in B-Arcade:

23 5
28 5

3. Throw Cypher’s Cyber Cage:

24 6

Cypher’s Cyber Cage should land on this small ledge on the wall:

Feel free to supplement the one-way setup with a Trapwire that covers the lane towards B-site.

26 5

Limit Their Vision

Cypher’s Cyber Cage is one of the more unique smoke abilities in VALORANT, with its remote activation and sound cues telling you whenever enemies cross the smoke. Because of how Cyber Cage is set up, you can also place them in specific spots toward entrances and lanes on maps such as Fracture to get an easy one-way effect on Defense.

Try out the one-way setups featured in this guide in your next outing as Cypher on Fracture. You might score a few easy kills on unsuspecting enemies around A-site or B-site.
