VALORANT on Game Pass brings a ton of value.

VALORANT: Unlock All Agents, Get a free XP boost, and Get the Pocket Sage Buddy with Game Pass

VALORANT is Riot Games’ unique take on a fast-paced low-time-to-kill tactical shooting game, where players choose to play as Agents with a unique set of abilities. If you’re just getting started in VALORANT, these Agents will be locked and won’t be available for play immediately.

To unlock Agents, you need to activate Agent Contracts and progress through each contract by gaining XP from playing tons of matches. This free method takes around 15-30 hours per Agent, which means it’s going to be a while before you’re rocking a full roster of 21 Agents on your account.

Previously, the only option you have, if you do not have the time to grind through each Agent, is to buy them out for 1000 VALORANT Points. But now that VALORANT is coming to Game Pass, you can just buy the Game Pass and enjoy the suite of benefits that comes with VALORANT on Game Pass.

What is Xbox Game Pass?

Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft’s game subscription service that offers a rotating catalog of games. Game Pass is available on a variety of regions and devices such as Microsoft’s Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Android, iOS, iPadOS, and Windows PC. For just $9.99 a month, gamers can get free access to games they would otherwise have to purchase first to play on a PC or console.

Riot Games typically lists their games in their own launcher but recently announced they would be adding their popular games such as League of Legends and VALORANT on Game Pass. Since most of Riot Games’ titles are free to play, VALORANT on Game Pass simply means players will be getting in-game bonuses and rewards regularly.

VALORANT on Game Pass

Starting December 12, VALORANT will be made available in Microsoft’s Game Pass. Riot Games fans who are also Game Pass members will be able to enjoy the exciting extras that come with purchasing the Game Pass and linking their VALORANT account with Game Pass.

Other Riot Games such as League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, and even League of Legends: Wild Rift will also be receiving various benefits from Game Pass.

VALORANT fans are getting some exciting bonuses with Game Pass. Namely:

  • Unlock All Current Agents
  • Access to every new Agent as soon as they’re released
  • 20% Match XP boost given to Battle Pass, Event Pass, and active Agent Contract progress.

For just $9.99 a month, VALORANT fans are not only getting an awesome deal as seen in the benefits above, but they also get access to numerous games currently available in the Game Pass. A win-win for all gamers.

How to Link Your VALORANT Account with Game Pass

Of course, before you can get the rewards for VALORANT, you need to link your VALORANT account to your Game Pass account first.

Link Up and Get Awesome Rewards

Linking your VALORANT with Game Pass will give you access to all Agents, a Sage Buddy, and bonus XP for your Battle Pass, Event Pass, and Agent Contract progress. Of course, this is all on top of the list of exciting games that you can start playing as soon as you start your Game Pass subscription.

$9.99 a month isn’t cheap, but the value it provides to VALORANT players just might be worth it, as spending money to unlock Agents with VALORANT points will cost more than the Game Pass subscription cost anyway.
