Chamber is Riot’s newest addition to the VALORANT roster. This dapper Agent offers a fresh perspective on how the Sentinel role should be played in competitive matches. The often boring and slow-paced Sentinel gameplay is probably the least fun role in VALORANT due to their abilities, often geared towards holding down sites and supporting allies.
However, because of Chamber’s polarizing skillset, VALORANT players might have to rethink what the Sentinel role can and cannot do. Chamber challenges the Sentinel stereotype with his offensive skill set, which he can use to defend bombsites aggressively.
Not Deadeye, but Chamber.
Chamber has been leaked repeatedly as Deadeye weeks before the official reveal. Riot Games stayed true to their customary Map + Agent staggered release schedule they have been implementing. Because of this, Chamber predictably followed the release of VALORANT’s newest map: Fracture.
Anybody regularly watching VALORANT leaks and reveals for the past few weeks will know that Chamber is linked directly with Fracture’s lore. Chamber (or Chambers) is a significant reason the Radian Collider collapsed within Fracture. The reason why he and his counterpart did what they did will be revealed in time.

The Devs will continue to reveal more of Chamber’s lore and the whole VALORANT universe in the next few teasers and updates.
Chamber’s Skill Set and Abilities
As mentioned above, Chamber’s skill set consists of offensive abilities, which he can use to hold down a bomb site defensively or aggressively drive attackers away from taking control of his area.
Here are his abilities:
TRADEMARK
PLACE a trap that scans for enemies. When an enemy visibly comes into range, the trap counts down and then destabilizes the terrain around it, creating a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.
HEADHUNTER
ACTIVATE to equip a heavy pistol. ALT FIRE with the pistol equipped to aim down sights.
RENDEZVOUS
PLACE two teleport anchors. While in the ground, and in range of an anchor, REACTIVATE to quickly teleport to the other anchor. Anchors can be picked up to be REDEPLOYED.
TOUR DE FORCE
ACTIVATE to summon a powerful, custom sniper rifle that will kill any enemy with a direct hit. Killing an enemy creates a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.

The Fastest Way to Grind Out Chamber
If you do not have VALORANT Points or do not find the need to spend money to unlock VALORANT’s newest Agent, then you can opt to play a ton of daily games to accumulate the XP needed to acquire Chamber.
Here are a few tips to gain extra XP:
- Check the Daily and Weekly Missions to gain extra XP by doing odd jobs within the game.
Deathmatch + Spike Rush Grind
Deathmatch and Spike Rush are probably the fastest way to grind and accumulate XP within the shortest time possible.
You will get 300 XP per Deathmatch round, regardless of where you place on the leaderboards. Each game of Deathmatch also only lasts ten minutes, but DM games often end at around the six-minute mark.
Playing Spike Rush can also help you gather the XP points you need to unlock Chamber. Each game of Spike Rush rewards players with 1,000 XP for 4-5 minutes of playtime.
Locked and Loaded
Chamber is Riot’s most interesting new Agent release in recent updates. What makes him extra special is how his Abilities go against the norm of what a Sentinel Agent should be doing in a VALORANT match.
His skill set, primarily of alarms and offensive weapons, will make enemies think twice about pushing this gentleman’s bomb site. Chamber can make quick work of his enemies using his Pistol and Custom Sniper Rifle.
Because of how Chamber is loaded out, he can hold down a bomb site independently. Chamber will be a great Agent to play in VALORANT once you have unlocked him.
