The M4A1 is an iconic rifle that has appeared in many modern shooters. Sometimes it’s the first weapon that a new player uses. As such it is the ideal balanced weapon for something like Warzone. For a few months it was the weapon of choice for most of the player base of Modern Warfare, for both its stats and choices for modification.
Let’s take a look at a few good Loadouts And Attachments builds for the Call of duty warzone.
The Best Aggressive M4A1 Warzone Loadout for Call of Duty Warzone
Attachments:
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Stock M16 Grenadier
- Underbarrel: Operator Foregrip
- Rear Grip: Rubberized Grip Tape
- Any Optic
Every single attachment save for the Optic provides some boost to your recoil control. The Barrel also boosts your damage range and bullet velocity, moreso than the alternate extended barrel option of the Corvus Custom Marksman, at the cost of a bit more mobility.
However, with this specific setup there is almost no horizontal recoil, and with a bit of adjustment on your end, very little barrel rise. You could sacrifice an attachment for a 60 Round Mag at the cost of more barrel rise or horizontal recoil.
While normally the M4A1’s iron sights have a decent sight picture, it’s better to have an optic of some kind for Warzone.
Perks:
- Double Time
- Restock
- Tracker
There is almost no reason to use double time, as the alternatives have only situational uses. The mobility from the extended Tactical Sprint compensates for the movement speed loss from the extended barrel, and you’ll be able to run into cover faster if you need to.
Restock is good for keeping your tactical and lethal equipment at hand, and is good for using lethal traps such as claymores and proximity mines for defense. Tracker will provide information to keep you up to date on your enemy’s movements, if you aren’t able to perfectly track them by sound.
Equipment:
- Proximity Mine
- Snapshot Grenade
Since you’ll probably be wanting to hold a position for at least stay at a decent range from your enemy, the Proximity Mine or alternatively the Claymore will help slow down or even stop your enemy’s approach. The Snapshot Grenade is just an added bonus for information on your enemies, but something like the Heartbeat Sensor works just as well, especially for environments without open lines of sight for the Snapshot to do its work.
Play more defensively at stay at range and you’ll be able to keep yourself alive, as well as take down a few enemies as you encounter them. Be warned, as almost every attachment reduces your ADS speed, so perhaps using something like an SMG secondary with Overkill may be beneficial for when your enemies get up close.
The best M4A1 Aggressive Loadout For Call Of Duty Warzone
Attachments:
- Barrel: FSS 11.5” Commando
- Stock: No Stock
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
- Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
- Laser: 5mW Laser
- Or
- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
For this build, you’ll be maximizing movement speed and sprint to fire speed. The Stippled Grip Tape and 5mW Laser both provide the buffs to your sprint to fire speed, while the Commando barrel and No Stock gives you extra movement speed.
Having the extended mag does sacrifice a bit of your movement speed for 30 extra rounds, which may or may not be worth it depending on how you look at it. You could throw on the Merc Foregrip for some additional hip fire accuracy, but it’s not necessary with the accuracy provided by the Laser.
Perks:
- Double Time
- Ghost
- Battle Hardened
Once again, Double Time provides you with a large bump in mobility, even more so with the increased movement speed from having No Stock and the Commando barrel. Ghost and Battle Hardened will give you some protection from impairment and detection when you’re closing the distance.
Equipment:
- C4
- Stun Grenade
Once you get up close you’ll want a few extra options for damage or impairment so that you can more easily take down your targets. The C4 is a decent option as a quick room clear or armor damage, and the Stun Grenade will stop them in their tracks with a good throw. Be careful, Battle Hardened has no effect on your own grenades hitting you.
Play aggressive and fast, go for flanks, and you’ll be able to down your enemies pretty quick. However, your weapon is 100% modified for close quarters, so you’ll be at a massive disadvantage at range. Find a good secondary or use Overkill instead to bring another weapon with you.
The best M4A1 in Warzone Loadout and Attachements
Attachments:
- Barrel: Stock M16 Grenadier
- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip/Operator Foregrip
- Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape/Rubberized Grip Tape
- Stock: No Stock
- Any Optic
This setup provides the best of both worlds, the barrel provides recoil control while the lack of a stock provides a large boost to movement speed, with the recoil control reduction from the stock being compensated for by the barrel.
The Stippled Grip Tape provides a bit more ADS speed, but if you’d rather have more recoil control, you can go for the Rubberized Grip Tape. As for the foregrip, if you’d prefer more hip fire accuracy, use the Merc Foregrip, otherwise the Operator works just as well without as much of a downside.
Perks:
- Double Time
- Ghost
- Tracker
Movement speed, information, and staying under the radar. You don’t really need much else for a build like this. With this loadout and set of perks you’ll be able to flank and fight at close ranges effectively and safely.
Equipment:
- C4
- Snapshot Grenade/Heartbeat Sensor
C4 once again provides a good room clear in a single toss, and both options for your Tactical slot provide you with extra information at a distance or at close range, depending on what you choose.
You can really play however you want with this, but at longer distances you may have a bit more trouble hitting accurate shots in long bursts from the increased recoil.
The mobility from the lack of a stock and Double Time gives you the speed to get up close, and you’ll be able to bring your weapon up faster.
Keep moving when you need to and take a stable stance at longer range and you’ll rise up the ranks fast.
Why use the M4A1 in Warzone?
The M4A1 was and still is one of the most common weapons used in both Multiplayer and Warzone, its balance of stats and good attachment options make it one of the most modular weapons in the game.
With the right setup, you can use it for almost any situation. Keep it at your side and it’ll get your through and up the ranks in Warzone.
