Every significant action anime franchise has its own fighting game, from Naruto to My Hero Academia. Now Bandai Namco has announced a new game based on one of the most bizarre IPs—JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R.
Watch this:
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is best known for its charismatic heroes. The latter drop unforgettable catchphrases (“yare yare daze…”) and perform over-the-top moves as they pummel each other using martial arts and supernatural skills.
The game promises to be a massive entry in the JoJo fighting game series and is said to bring together 50 characters from every story arc of the anime. With All-Star Battle, you get to bring together favorite heroes and villains and have them interact with each other for the first time in the franchise.
The original All-Star Battle came out back in 2013, and since it has been almost a decade since release, All-Star Battle R promises a completely overhauled fighting system that adds jump dashes and hit stops to the move list. The game even brought back the original anime voice actors to perform their characters for the game; top that off with the original anime’s art style, and you have one hell of an authentic JoJo fighting game experience.
