Supermassive Games explains how The Quarry takes the core of what made Until Dawn so successful and uses fresh ideas and technology to create an exciting new horror game.
The video has director Will Byles explaining their approach to The Quarry and what feedback they got from Until Dawn that’s helping refine this upcoming game. Though the game is still a horror title, there is now an option for people to just watch it as one binge-able film.
“We got a stellar cast, and we wanted to be able to capture them and their acting skills and their ability to be able to portray that kind of stuff as closely as possible, so we’ve really really pushed on that as well,” says Byles.
While narrative games aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, this should be a fun try for anyone who likes horror games and horror films.
