Netflix subscribers rarely come to the platform for games, but there are some gems worth checking out from the platform occasionally. To jump in on the Transformers hype with Rise of the Beasts, we have a new trailer for the game Transformers: Forged to Fight.

Just like the recent movies, it looks like the game will be embracing the G1 appearances of the Transformers and the more familiar looks of the Beast Wars characters. Michael Bay’s films defined the franchise for a generation, but you have to love the retro/modern feel of the new G1-based designs that started in the Bumblebee movie.
Despite attempts at a AAA Transformers game, developers haven’t gotten to that sweet spot. With the resurgence of Transformers on the big screen, though, maybe we could be getting a bigger game in the franchise soon.
Heck, I might even settle for a remake of Fall of Cyberton.
