Before continuing the story of Kratos and Atreus with God of War: Ragnarok, the reluctant video game dad will make his way to another platform. Sony has released God of War for PC, and PlayStation has dropped a new trailer showcasing its ultra-wide mode.
Check it out:
Here’s the official description:
Immerse yourself like never before. Journey through the Norse realms, admiring breathtaking vistas in panoramic widescreen. With 21:9 ultra-widescreen support, God of War™ presents a cinema-quality experience that expands the original seamless theatrical vision.
Suppose God of War is known for anything. In that case, it’s a spectacle, and playing the game in ultra-widescreen will give players a different level of immersion.
Besides ultra-wide mode, the God of War PC version will also come with many new exclusive skins for Kratos and Atreus. While we get a Death’s Vow armor set, the shield has multiple skins: Exile’s Guardian, Buckler of the Forge, Shining Elven Soul, and Dökkenshieldr.
While God of War already looked amazing with last-gen specs, fans are just waiting to see what kind of doors will be opened with this PC release. Bring in the mods!
With his vengeance against the Gods of Olympus years behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the realm of Norse Gods and monsters. In this harsh, unforgiving world, he must fight to survive … and teach his son to do the same.
God of War is now available for PC and PlayStation 4|5.
