Microsoft has announced that FIFA 23 will be leaving Xbox Game Pass in September, along with several other titles. Here’s everything you should know!
Xbox Game Pass will see the departure of 6 more games in September. This comes shortly after removing up to 7 games in August 2024, including NBA 2K24, which was removed on the last day of the month. These removals are set to occur two weeks after the last round of departures from Microsoft’s subscription service.
Regular game rotation has become normal on Xbox as old games get removed and replaced with new ones. So, let’s take a look at the latest wave of games to be removed from Xbox Game Pass later this month.
Xbox Game Pass Games Leaving on September 15
As of the time of writing, the Xbox Game Pass app “Leaving Soon” section confirms that the following games will be leaving soon:
- Payday 3
- FIFA 23
- Slime Rancher 2
- SpiderHeck
- You Suck at Parking
- Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation
These games will be leaving the Xbox Game Pass library by September 15, 2024. The removal of the first five games was announced a few days ago, while Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation was recently added to the list, bringing the total to 6 games.
Payday 3 is one of the best strategy games on Xbox Game Pass, and it headlines the list of games leaving Microsoft’s subscription service on September 15, 2024. This comes less than a year after it was added on September 21, 2023. Of the departing titles, it has the shortest stint, as FIFA 23 was added in May 2023, while Slime Rancher 2, SpiderHeck, You Suck at Parking, and Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation, a PC game, have been part of the service since September 2022.
So, if you’re still planning to play any other titles, there’s still time left to enjoy them before they’re gone.
