Episode 5 Act II comes in just in time for Champions 2022.
Crosshair size, color, or shape is a very subjective topic in tactical FPS games. However, the ability to shape and create a crosshair that you’re comfortable with can help give you the confidence you need to headshot your way to victory.
Patch 5.04 is a relatively small update that adds new customization options, allowing you to fine-tune your crosshairs look in VALORANT. Other changes around the in-game crosshair include the ability to copy a spectated player’s crosshair and the ability to add more crosshair profiles in-game.
Other than that, you can expect the typical rank reset that comes with every Act and a new Battle Pass with exciting new rewards.
Crosshair Customization
The most significant change is the ability to input hex color codes so you can use the specific color you want to use in-game. This option is a very nice feature to have in-game since, previously, players could only choose from the most commonly used color presets and adjust the opacity settings to get the color they want.
Other new crosshair options include the ability to independently adjust horizontal and vertical lines on the crosshair, which should allow for a much finer crosshair configuration tuning that will help players get the exact crosshair dimensions that work best for their playstyle.
Finally, the devs have increased the number of crosshair profiles you can save in-game. In patch 5.04, you can save up to 15 different crosshair profiles that you can easily switch between depending on the map you’re currently playing. Need an additional five different smaller crosshair profiles for Breeze’s long sightlines? No problem.

Fine Tune Your Aim
VALORANT is getting very close to giving players free reign over how their crosshairs look in-game. With the addition of the hex-based color codes and the individual crosshair line fine-tuning options, players can finally create a crosshair that suits their preferences and playstyle.
With that said, players can quickly put the crosshair fine-tuning options to the test with the rank reset that comes with Episode 5 Act 2.
