Season 12 brings some much-needed updates to the Diablo Immortal Battle Pass.
The Diablo Immortal Battle Pass has looked pretty much the same recently. Aside from the new Cosmetic sets featured every Season, the rewards you can get from the Battle Pass have been pretty much fixed for a few seasons.
This isn’t bad, as the Battle Pass has always been a reliable source of materials such as Scrap Materials, Hilts, and Crests for many players. But there’s tons of room for improvement.
Blizzard knows this, which is why they have added a new feature and swapped around some rewards for others for the Season 12 Battle Pass.

Note: Players who purchase the Empowered Battle Pass will receive both the ‘Normal Battle Pass’ and the ‘Empowered Battle Pass’ rewards as they progress through the ranks. In addition, Empowered Battle Pass owners will receive the exclusive Heroes of Unification cosmetic at rank one and the Heroes of Unification Armor cosmetic at rank 40.
Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass Improvements
Players can also opt for the more expensive Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass, which comes with instant access to all rank rewards from the Empowered Battle Pass, including the Heroes of Unification-themed weapon and armor cosmetic, plus a Heroes of Unification Frame, a new Heroes of Unification Portal cosmetic, and an instant fourteen-rank jump in your current battle pass rank.
New for Season 12 is Battle Archive Coins – a Battle Pass-specific currency players can use to purchase Cosmetic pieces, Portals, Frames, and Aspirant’s Keys from the Battle Archive Shop.
You can also collect the Gift of Renown Chest for every 180 Battle Pass Points after Level 40.
Xiansai Celebrations
Diablo Immortal’s Battle Pass has remained stagnant throughout most of the Seasons 1-11. The rewards were mostly the same from one Season to another, which, while not necessarily bad (there’s tons of valuable upgrade material), could use some improvements to keep players interested and happy.
Blizzard hopes the addition of the Battle Archive Shop and minor reward changes to the Empowered Battle Pass will be enough to keep players interested in the Battle Pass for seasons to come.
