Fade brings an unbeatable combination of offensive and defensive capabilities to the battlefield. Here’s how to unlock the Phasing Punisher.

Apex Legends Mobile: How to Unlock Fade

Nobody expected Respawn Entertainment to develop and introduce an all-new Legend for Apex Legends Mobile Season 1.

Fade – The Phasing Punisher – is a unique Legend whose abilities can be used for both offensive-minded and defensive-minded play. Fade’s unique versatility will surely make him a hit among Apex Legends Mobile fans and make him an easy-to-pick-up Legend that will satisfy many players.

However, being exclusive content will have its quirks, as unlike the nine other Legends in the game, Fade can only be unlocked through special means.

Worry not! This guide will show you how to unlock Fade in Apex Legends Mobile.

What are Fade’s Abilities

The Phasing Punisher controls the powers of the Void. As such, Fade’s abilities revolve around phasing and time manipulation.

Passive Ability: Slipstream

Tactical Ability: Flash Back

Ultimate: Phase Chamber

We go in-depth into Fade’s abilities and how they can affect Fade and his teammates in our Fade Abilities Guide. Be sure to check that out when it comes out.

In general, Fade feels like a Legend who can play both a support/recon role and an offensive role depending on his team’s need.

Admittedly, he will be more effective in the hands of a seasoned Apex Legend player who can take advantage of Fade’s mistake-erasing abilities, such as Slipstream and Flashback.

How to Unlock Fade in Apex Legends Mobile

There are two to unlock Fade in Apex Legends Mobile – Season 1 Battle Pass or Syndicate Gold. Unfortunately, both methods require players to spend some money to unlock The Phasing Punisher.

Unlock Fade Through Battle Pass

By acquiring the Season 1 Battle Pass, players can unlock special rewards as they level up, including Fade Pieces.

Fade Pieces are awarded at levels 1, 9, 13, 17, and 25 of the Season 1 Battle Pass. A total of 10 Fade Pieces are needed to unlock The Phasing Punisher.

Players can purchase the Apex Legends Mobile Season 1 Battle Pass for 799 Syndicate Gold for the Premium Pass) or 1599 Syndicate Gold for the Premium Pass Plus. The latter option will instantly unlock the first ten levels of the Battle Pass rewards and comes with an exclusive Avatar Frame.

Unlock Fade Through Syndicate Gold

Unlocking Fade through Syndicate Gold is the fastest and easiest way to unlock the Apex Legends Mobile exclusive Legend.

To unlock Fade, players need to spend 750 Syndicate Gold. Here are the approximate prices in USD.

  • 280 Syndicate Gold – $4.49
  • 935 Syndicate Gold – $14.99
  • 1870 Syndicate Gold – $26.99
  • 2340 Syndicate Gold – $32.99
  • 9365 Syndicate Gold – $129.99

If you want to unlock and play Fade ASAP, purchasing 935 Syndicate Gold for $14.99 will be the fastest way to acquire the exclusive Legend.

However, depending on how bad your itch is to play the exclusive Legend, going for the Battle Pass will be the more value-oriented option here, as the BP costs just 49 more Syndicate Gold while offering a ton of other rewards.

Coming Out of the Void

Fade can be a devastating Legend in the right hands. The Phasing Punisher’s escape mechanisms and mobility allow him to take risky plays as no other Legend can.

We are pretty sure you’re excited to try him out in-game. And, through the methods we have shown above, we hope that you will be able to unlock Fade in a way that works best for you.
