If you’re more of an archer player in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you might think that you’re somewhat not taken into account by the developers. What I mean by this is that Valhalla focuses mostly on close-range combat, rather than long-range.
However, while this might be true in some cases, as the bow can be viewed as “something plus”, but there are builds you can do that are solely long-range, and deal unbelievable amounts of damage.
For this build you will need the best archer weapon in the game at this moment!
Best Archer Weapon
Some have made calculations on all of the bows in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and it seems like the Hunnish Bow takes the crown.
It is a hunter bow and once upgraded it will have at least 124 attack, but it also has a special perk where ranged damage gets increased when hitting a weak point.
To get this bow, you will just have to finish the Norway story-line, in other words, the prologue which is relatively short.
Runes
When upgraded fully, you will have 2 rune slots with one diamond one. For the diamond rune slot, go for a rune that will increase ranged damage when hitting weak points.
Don’t worry, this effect stacks, which is why we chose it. There are some other runes that you can go with as well if you don’t have this one yet, but it is recommended that you use this one.
As for the other runes, you can go with attack damage runes, for example, +3, +4 ATK and similar.
Armor
Now, the armor doesn’t really make a difference, since it doesn’t really provide that much buffs, or does it? Well, if you really want to get the most out of your build, then consider getting the Huntsman armor set, but others will work well too.
Skills and Abilities
The best skills and abilities to have are Focus and Charged Shot. Both are from the wolf family of skills, and they often go hat-in-hand.
When attacking enemies start with their weak spot, activate Focus and use the Charged Shot to the head. This should be your go to playstyle with this build. Good luck!
