At some point in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you might need to burn a house down. After all, this game is still a Viking game, so pillaging is a big part of it!
Some might have difficulties doing so because after all, it’s not like the game tells you exactly how you can destroy and burn down a house.
Valhalla is more of a “find out yourself” type of game, which is not bad, but it can be hard for many to find out how to do certain stuff.
How to Burn Down a House – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
There is no getting around it, this is pretty fun to do. Without sounding like a complete maniac, burning down houses in Valhalla is a bit satisfying.
Sometimes though, it will be a requirement for pillaging villages. You get what is called the “pillaging progress”, and the more damage you do to structures, and people, the more it increases.
To burn a house down, you will need to light up the roof of the house. Usually, houses in Valhalla have pretty flammable roofs, so this won’t be an issue.
There are many different ways to ignite a roof, but my favorite is throwing a lit torch on the roof of the house, the fire will eventually spread and burn the whole house down.
Different Ways of Ignition
Like I said, there are a few ways to do this. One is the one I mentioned which is using a torch to do so, the other two are either using a lit arrow, or using a burning pot.
If you don’t know how to lit an arrow in Valhalla, it’s pretty simple, all you need to do is charge an arrow, and then while aiming, sort of place the arrow in a torch or a fire that’s nearby.
Lastly, with a burning pot it’s pretty self-explanatory, you either throw a burning pot on the roof of the house, or leave it there and then shoot it with an arrow!
