Unfortunately, we have seen so many games that’ve been released with no support for the macOS users. Seems like Mac users have been seen as the not-so-interested-in-gaming group for quite a while.
But that can’t be further from the truth. Additionally, with the newest Ubisoft title around the corner, everybody is wondering whether you can play Watch Dogs: Legion on a mac.
We set out to find that out, and thankfully we were greeted with some good news.
Can You Play Watch Dogs: Legion on a Mac?
What’s interesting is that we have seen a gaming studio like Ubisoft, release games with no macOS support. That’s an absurd move, but we have seen a sudden shift in this way of publishing.
These days more and more games get released on as many platforms as possible, even mobile. Furthermore, cross-play and save has become a thing now.
With that said, what about Watch Dogs: Legion? Can you play Watch Dogs: Legion on a Mac?
Thankfully, Ubisoft is going to release Watch Dogs: Legion with full support for macOS users. Previous generations weren’t available for the Mac.
Well, initially they weren’t. Soon after its release for PC, Watch Dogs 2 was released for the macOS later on.
These are the minimum system requirements for Watch Dogs: Legion:
- Ray Tracing – ENABLED
CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 2.8GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
Video Card Memory: 6 GB
RAM: 16 GB
HDD: At least 45 GB
- Ray Tracing – DISABLED
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Video Card Memory: 4 GB
RAM: 8 GB
Now, as you can see most newer generations of Mac system can handle this game pretty easily. There is no official Ray-Tracing for AMD cards – which the Mac systems have, but it may become available in the future. For the Mac users out there, enjoy Watch Dogs: Legion!
