Repair Conditions

Note that repairs do not have a 100% success rate. Any part that fails the repair process will be destroyed.

Repairs will also only restore car parts to a certain condition. For example, the Water Pump below has a current condition of 37% but can improve to 51% after the repair. However, the part will drop to 18% when the repair process fails.

Lastly, not all parts can be repaired. You can only repair parts that show up in the parts list when you access any of the work benches.

If you do not have any parts the selected workbench can repair, the game will send a notification saying, “You don’t have the necessary parts.”

Is it worth repairing parts in Car Mechanic Simulator?

Repairing parts in Car Mechanic Simulator is worth it. Repairs allow you to fix a previously unusable part for very little money.

However, you shouldn’t force a repair on parts in good working condition. These parts can still be used in future jobs, so it is best that you save them for other projects instead. You’re also better off selling parts you can’t repair in your workshop.
