Where to find the Fuel Filter in Car Mechanic Simulator?
Fuel filters are some of the trickiest engine parts to locate in Car Mechanic Simulator, simply because fuel filter locations can differ from one engine to another. Generally, however, you should be able to find the fuel filter in the engine bay around the engine itself.
The fuel filter is a small canister, as shown in the image below. The good news is that there is only one type of fuel filter in Car Mechanic Simulator, so you should be able to find this same part in the engine bay by simply searching around the engine.
To find the fuel filter, focus on the engine first. So open the hood and select the engine to focus on it.
Now, you can start searching the engine bay for the fuel filter. Look around the engine block, where the fuel filter is commonly placed. On this Sakura Takumi, the fuel filter is located at the back end of the engine near the firewall.
How To Replace the Fuel Filter?
Finding the fuel filter is the only challenging part, as you can easily remove and replace the fuel filter by selecting the part in Part Mount/Unmount Mode. Here’s how to do it.
- Locate the Fuel Filter.
2. Select and hold the “Take Off Part” button to remove the fuel filter.
3. The fuel filter should now be in your inventory.
4. If the fuel filter is broken, buy a new one from the computer in your garage for 30 CR.
5. Return to your car With a new fuel filter in hand, then focus on the engine again.
6. Bring up the Pie Menu and select “Part Mount.”
7. Select the fuel filter.
8. Press and hold the mount button.
9. Choose the fuel filter you want to use.
