Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in olden times in the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the Hisui region, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every Hisui Region Pokemon to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.
The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Various people will also ask for help from the player in the form of requests. One of these requests is Request 89, titled ‘The Diamond Clan’s Treasure.’ This guide will teach you how to complete ‘The Diamond Clan’s Treasure’ request.
The Diamond Clan’s Treasure
To unlock this request, the player must first complete the main story of the game with the last mission called ‘The Counterpart,’ which is the 18th mission in the game where the player must defeat and catch Dialga/Palkia and close the Space-Time Rift at the top of Mount Coronet.
After doing the requirements mentioned above, you can now start this request! To do that, head on to Lake Valor in the northeastern part of the map of the Crimson Mirelands, and on the western side of the lake, the player will find Adaman of the Diamond Clan. Talk to Adaman, and he will tell the player that he found some treasure that the player would be interested in.
Confirm on the prompt that you are curious, and Adaman will be happy that you are. Then quote Professor Laventon by saying that curiosity is what moves science forward. After that, however, he will realize that what he found seems too valuable for him to just let the player in on it for free, and he will say that the player should work for it a little. Then, like that, ‘The Diamond Clan’s Treasure’ Request started!
After that, Adaman will say that he wants the player to show him what is on the player’s mind, heart, and soul, which he says can be done by battling against him. Confirm on the prompt to agree to his terms, and now the battle will commence!
To complete ‘The Diamond Clan’s Treasure’ Request, the player must defeat Adaman and his Pokemon!
Adaman’s Pokemon are Leafeon, Umbreon, and Vaporeon, and he will send them all out simultaneously.
With that in mind, it is important to mention that Adaman’s Leafeon is a Level 64 Grass-type Pokemon, which means it has a weakness in Bug-type, Fire-type, Flying-type, Ice-type, and Poison-type moves (super effective) and resistance to Electric-type, Grass-type, Ground-type, and Water-type moves (not very effective).
Adaman’s Umbreon is a Level 32 Dark-type Pokemon, which means it has a weakness to the Bug-type, Fairy type, and Fighting-type moves (super effective), a resistance to Dark-type and Ghost-type moves (not very effective), and immunity to Psychic-type moves (no effect).
Adaman’s Vaporeon is a Level 32 Water-type Pokemon, which means it has a weakness in Electric-type and Grass-type moves (super effective) and resistance to Fire-type, Ice-type, Steel-type, and Water-type moves (not very effective).
After defeating Adaman and all his Pokemon, he will tell the player that he is a man of his word and give the player the treasure he was talking about earlier, which is an Adamant Crystal which is a large and glowing gem that, when used on Dialga, will allow it to change form.
Adaman will then say that the crystal was his grandfather’s, and his grandfather told him that the crystal was somehow related to the mighty Dialga. He will then tell the player that it seems right to give the Adamant Crystal to the player now that he has tested the player a little and since the player is the one who caught the mighty Dialga. After that, Adaman will tell the player that he is glad that it was the player who fell out of the sky and helped them as the player taught him another way to get along with Pokemon and to relate to the world.
Finally, Adaman will also reward the player with three Comet Shards for your efforts. Then, just like that, ‘The Diamond Clan’s Treasure’ Request is complete!
