Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in olden times in the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the Hisui region, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every species of Pokémon from the Hisui region to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.

How to Complete the “Double the Tails, Double the Fun” Request (Request 50) in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Additionally, various people will also ask for help from the player in the form of requests. One of these requests is Request 50, titled ‘Double the Tails, Double the Fun.‘ This guide will teach you how to complete the ‘Double the Tails, Double the Fun’ request.

Double the Tails, Double the Fun

To unlock this request, the player must first unlock Basculegion as a rideable Pokemon which is part of ‘The Lordless Island’ Mission (the tenth mission in the game). The player must quell a frenzied Hisuian Arcanine.

After doing the requirements mentioned above, you can now start this request! To do that, head to the eastern part of Jubilife Village near the Pastures, and there you will find a member of the Security Corps named Netta. Talk to Netta, and she will tell the player that she heard that the player is quite the Pokemon expert, so she will ask the player if they know anything about a Pokemon with two tail fins.

Netta will tell the player that she wants to see it again, but this time she wants to look at it up close. She will then say that she saw one swimming the other day with its two fins fluttering behind it, and she thinks it looked so lovely, and she was captivated right away. Finally, she will ask the player to show her the Pokemon with two tail fins if the player manages to catch one. Then, the ‘Double the Tails, Double the Fun’ Request has started!

The Pokemon that Netta is referring to is a Finneon. Finneon can only be found around Seagrass Haven in the Cobalt Coastlands. It can be found in this location at all times of day and in every weather condition.

Suppose you decide to battle a Finneon before catching it. In that case, it is worth mentioning that Finneon is a Water-type Pokemon which means it has a weakness against Grass-type and Electric-type moves (super effective) and resistance to Fire-type, Ice-type, Steel-type, and Water-type moves (not very effective).

If you decide to distract it with food, Finneon’s preferred foods are Hearty Grains and Plump Beans.

After catching a Finneon, head back to Netta, still on the east side of Jubilife Village near the Pastures, talk to her, and select the Finneon you want to show her on the prompt. Netta will then marvel at the Finneon, saying that it is adorable how it wiggles its fins and looks like it is fluttering in the wind. She will then thank the player and say that the Survey Corps has her full support. Finally, Netta will reward the player with one Star Piece.

Now that you have completed the ‘Double the Tails Double the Fun’ Request, you can now try to complete other requests, complete missions, or complete Arceus’ task for you, which is to catch ‘em all!
