Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in olden times in the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set Hisui, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every Hisui Pokemon species to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.
The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Various people will also ask for help from the player in the form of requests. One of these requests is Request 38, titled “Gone Astray… in the Mirelands.” This guide will teach you how to complete the “Gone Astray… in the Mirelands” request.
Gone Astray… in the Mirelands
To unlock this request, the player must first quell Ursaluna, which is part of the “Arezu’s Predicament” mission (the eighth game mission).
After that, you can now start this request! To do that, head back to Jubilife Village, enter the Galaxy Hall, and just outside Captain Cyllene’s office on the left, the player will find a man in Agriculture Corps clothing named Zeke. Talk to Zeke, and he will tell the player that his sister, Wanda, is in the Security Corps, and she went to the Crimson Mirelands but never returned.
As he heard that the player could track down Arezu in the Crimson Mirelands, he asked the player to find his sister. Please select an option from the prompt, and Zeke will give the player Wanda’s favorite handkerchief so that the player’s Ursaluna, a rideable Pokemon, will pick up her scent. Then, the ‘Gone Astray… in the Mirelands’ request started just like that!
To complete this request, the player must head to the Crimson Mirelands and find Zeke’s sister, Wanda, using the rideable Pokemon Ursaluna. When riding Ursaluna, follow the blue indicator until the player and Ursaluna find Wanda. This blue indicator will only appear once the player is close enough to Wanda. Well, now that you are reading this guide. It would be better to tell you where to find Wanda in the Crimson Mirelands.
Wanda can be found under a tree near the river and the edge of the cliff southwest of Gapejaw Bog, which is just south of the Mirelands Camp, and the Golden Lowlands, southwest of Scarlet Bog, which is in the middle of the map of the Crimson Mirelands, or west of the Bogbound Camp near Sludge Mound.
Upon finding Wanda, talk to her; she will be very happy to see another person. As she returned to the base camp when a wild Pokemon attacked her, she got away, but she also got completely lost while running. After that, she will ask the player to help her get back home.
Wanda will walk toward returning home; the player will call her again and tell her that it is the wrong way. She will then backtrack and pretend that she knows where she was going. Finally, she is in the right direction and is on the way home.
After finding Wanda, head back to Zeke, still on the left side of Captain Cyllene’s office entrance in the Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village, and talk to him. You will also see his sister, Wanda, beside him. Zeke will then tell the player that Wanda made it back safely and that he was glad that he asked for the player’s help, who is just as good as everyone.
He will then explain that his sister, Wanda, is still new to the Security Corps and that, according to him, Wanda is a bit flighty at the best of times, which is why he can not help but worry about her. After that, he will then ask the player to continue keeping an eye on Wanda, which she will interrupt and say that he is embarrassing her. Then, after a few more dialogues between Zeke and Wanda, Wanda will say that she appreciates all the player’s help and reward the player with three Stardusts for your efforts.
