Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in the old times in the Pokemon world at a time when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the land of the Hisui region, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every species of Pokémon from the Hisui region to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.
The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Additionally, various people will also ask for help from the player requests. One of these requests is Request 32, titled ‘The Headache-Stricken Psyduck.’ This guide will teach you how to complete the ‘The Headache-Stricken Psyduck’ request.
The Headache-Stricken Psyduck
To unlock this request, the player must first travel to the Crimson Mirelands, which the player can do after receiving the “Arezu’s Predicament” mission (the eighth game mission), where the player must quell the Lady of the Ridge Liligant’s frenzy.
After that, you can start this request! The player can do that by heading to the Crimson Mirelands and heading to the Diamond Settlement, just east of the Mirelands Camp. You will find Martia, surrounded by three Psyducks, near a tent in the northeast part of the area. Talk to her, and she will ask the player if they know of a medicine that can cure headaches as she needs it for her Psyduck. She will tell the player that none of her medicines worked for her Psyduck, and she wants to help them as she can tell that they are suffering terribly. She will then ask you to ask some people in the Galaxy Team for medicine. Then, just like that, the ‘The Headache-Stricken Psyduck’ has been started!
To complete this request, the player must go to the Galaxy Hall and find medicine for Martia and her Psyducks. The player must head back to Jubilife Village and enter the Galaxy Hall to do this. Upon entering, head to the room on the right side of Captain Cyllene’s office, where you will find an older man named Tomma. Talk to him, and he will tell you that you have come to the right person as he has a Secret Medicine that only people from his hometown know how to make. He will then give you a dose of Secret Medicine, and he will say that it works wonders as after giving it to any ailing Pokemon, according to him, they will soon be right as rain, and even a Psyduck’s headache will clear right up.
After obtaining the Secret Medicine from Tomma, go back to Martia and her Psyducks in the Diamond Settlement in the Crimson Mirelands. Talk to Martia again, and she will take medicine from the player and try it on her Psyducks. The screen will fade to black, and the three Psyducks will look happy and relieved when it fades back. Martia will then thank the player for finding the medicine for her. Finally, she will reward the player with one Max Revive for your efforts! She will then say that she was nervous about the Galaxy Team before, but now that she knows that they are the kind of people that would help total strangers, she has realized that she has nothing to worry about, and maybe she will visit the Galaxy Hall some time.
Now that you have completed the ‘The Headache-Stricken Psyduck’ request, you can now try to complete other requests, complete missions, or complete Arceus’ task for you, which is to catch ‘em all!
