Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in olden times in the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the Hisui region, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every Hisui region Pokemon to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.
The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Additionally, various people will also ask for help from the player requests. One of these requests is Request 71, titled the ‘New Wares Yet Again.’ In this guide, you will learn how to complete the ‘New Wares Yet Again’ request.
New Wares Yet Again
To unlock this request, the player must first receive ‘The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra’ Mission, the twelfth mission in the game where the player must quell a frenzied Noble Hisuian Avalugg. Additionally, the player must also complete the ‘Even More New Wares’ Request (request 61) from Choy at the General Store in Jubilife Village.
After doing the requirements mentioned, you can now start this request! To do just that, head to the General Store just across the Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village, and there you will find the merchant named Choy. Talk to him, and a cutscene will play where Tao Hua, a member of the Supply Corps, will be angry at Choy and then walk away.
The player will then approach, and Choy will apologize that the player had to see that, and he will explain that he asked Tao Hua to supply him with some new goods, but Tao Hua does not want to do business with him. Choy will then ask the player to persuade Tao Hua again (like in requests 23, 43, and 61) by bringing him some Sand Radishes. Then, just like that, the request started!
To complete this request, all the player has to bring Tao Hua three Sand Radishes. Now it is time to find some Sand Radishes!
Sand Radishes are blue vegetables planted on the floor only found in the Alabaster Icelands. The player can find at least three Sand Radishes in Heart’s Crag in the northeastern part of Alabaster Icelands. However, it is worth noting that there are Level 50 Rufflets in the area, so you may need to be careful when picking up the Sand Radishes in the area. If you need to farm for more Sand Radishes, you can reset the map to respawn the items by going to Jubilife Village and returning to Heart’s Crag in the Alabaster Icelands.
Alternatively, the player can purchase Sand Radishes from the Gingko Guild Merchants for 800 Pokemon Dollars. However, it is worth mentioning that the items the Gingko Guild Merchants sell are not the same, so that purchasable items may vary.
After obtaining three Sand Radishes, head back to Jubilife Village and head to the Galaxy Hall. Head to the basement and go inside the room to see an older man wearing green clothes and a pair of glasses named Tao Hua. He is standing near the center desks with the flags.
Talk to Tao Hua, and he will apologize to the player for always getting roped into errands on his account and will then say that he would be happy to give the corps’ products out of the shop for free, but that would mean letting Choy off the hook. Tao Hua does not want that to happen. After that, Tao Hua will ask the player if the player is headed to the Alabaster Icelands, then ask the player to bring him some Sand Radishes.
The player will say they already have the Sand Radishes Tao Hua needs. Confirm to give him the Sand Radishes on the prompt, and Tao Hua will marvel at the Sand Radishes, which according to him, are the Alabaster Icelands’ finest feature. He will then mention that once the Sand Radishes are pickled, they make for a lovely, crisp, and well-liked snack. Tao Hua will then apologize again for using the player as a middle man between him and Choy, so he will finally have a conversation with him.
After that, go back to Choy, still in the General Store just across the Galaxy Hall, and talk to him. A cutscene will then play where Tao Hua will set Choy up with some new goods to favor the player, but Tao Hua will say that that does not mean that he has accepted Choy.
After that, a woman named Yui will suddenly interject and be angry at Tao Hua, her grandfather, then ask him if her and Choy’s little store is not worthy of selling his goods. Yui will then say that if Tao Hua keeps this up, she will never talk to him again.
Tao Hua will then run away and scream about why Yui got married and left his grandfather. Yui will then apologize to the player as, according to her, her grandfather has been a bother, and she hopes this does not put the player off visiting their shop. After that, Yui will leave, and, finally, Choy will say that he now has new wares to sell, which you can purchase after talking to him!
Now that you have completed the ‘New Wares Yet Again’ Request, you can now try to complete other requests, complete missions, or complete Arceus’ task for you, which is to catch ’em all!
