Pokemon Legends: Arceus occurs in the olden times of the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the land of the Hisui region, modern-day Sinnoh, you join the Galaxy Expedition Team (or Galaxy Team) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You have the task of meeting every species of Pokémon from the Hisui region to complete the area’s first-ever Pokédex.

How to Complete The Wurmple’s Evolved Request (Request 10) in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

In the game, the Galaxy Team directs the player to do missions. Additionally, various people will also ask for help from the player requests. One of these requests is Request 10, titled ‘Wurmple’s Evolved!’ This guide will teach you how to complete Wurmple’s Evolved request.

Wurmple’s Evolved

To unlock this request, this is what the player must do:

  1. The player must first complete Beauregard’s request titled ‘Wurmple Can Evolve’ which involves catching a Wurmple and giving it to him (this is the very first Request in the game).
  2. Then, Beauregard’s Wurmple should evolve into a Cascoon. This can be done by capturing at least 35 species of Pokemon. After that, go back to Beauregard and talk to him to witness his Wurmple evolve.
  3. Next, catch 10 Pokemon, and register them to the Pokedex
  4. Then, the player should have a Cascoon and Silcoon that was manually evolved from Wurmples.

After doing the requirements mentioned above, you can now start this request. To do just that, head to the Galaxy Hall and proceed to Professor Laventon’s room on the left side of Captain Cyllene’s office. In Professor Laventon’s room, you can find a blackboard just behind Professor Laventon himself. There are a few requests on this blackboard that the player can take on. Read what’s on the blackboard, and on the prompt, select the ‘Wurmple’s Evolved!’ request. And, just like that, the request has started!

After starting the quest, go outside the Galaxy Hall, and talk to Beauregard just outside the door. He will tell you that Professor Laventon thinks Beauregard’s Wurmple has evolved into a Cascoon, but Beauregard thinks it’s a Silcoon. Then, he will ask you to catch a Silcoon and show it to him so he can distinguish which is which.

To catch a Silcoon, do note you can only find them in the Obsidian Fieldlands, specifically in the Floaro Gardens west of the Fieldlands Camp and The Heartwood near the Grandtree Arena in the southeast of the map of the Obsidian Fieldlands. It is also worth noting that Silcoons only appear in these areas during the day.

Alternatively, you can obtain a Silcoon by evolving a Wurmple. However, a Wurmple can evolve to either a Cascoon or a Silcoon, and there is no way to ensure that it will evolve into a Silcoon. This method would probably need a few tries of catching a Wurmple and letting it evolve. If you have a hard time finding a Silcoon, this option will always be available. You can also only find Wurmples in the Obsidian Fieldlands, specifically in the Floaro Gardens, Horseshoe Plains, and a little bit south of Aspiration Hill, all in the northern part of Obsidian Fieldlands or The Heartwood in the southeast part of the Obsidian Fieldlands.

After catching a Silcoon, go back to Jubilife Village and head to Beauregard, who is still stationed outside the Galaxy Hall. Talk to him, and show him the Silcoon you caught. He will compare it to his Cascoon, and initially, he will think that they are the same. However, he will realize they are not, but he still could not believe two Pokemon could be so similar yet be of different species. He will then apologize to his Cascoon for not knowing his Pokemon; their bond will become stronger than ever! Finally, he will reward you with one Exp. Candy S, for your efforts.

Now that you have completed the ‘Wurmple’s Evolved!’ Request, you can now try to complete other requests, complete missions, or complete Arceus’ task for you, which is to catch ’em all!
