The latest title from Laurian Studios is taken the world by storm. Many of the previous title’s fans are wondering does this game controller support on PC.

Does Baldur's Gate 3 Have Controller Support On PC

In Divinity, we have seen controller compatibility implanted way after its initial release date. With that said, it’s not bizarre to guess that we have controller support on PC for Baldur’s Gate 3.

Thankfully, we have everything you need to know about this topic, and we will answer the most pressing question in the community right now.

Baldur’s Gate 3 – Does it Have Controller Support on PC

Like I said, a lot of previous titles by these developers, seem to add controller support to their games. But was it any good?

This game has complicated movement, combat, item, spell, and interaction mechanics. When you play Baldur’s Gate 3, it’s no secret that you have to move around the mouse very much.

Will that work for controller, and if so, how would you do these movements?

Sadly, Baldur’s Gate 3 has no controller support on PC.

Nonetheless, there is no reason not to think that they’ll be adding it in the future. They certainly did with games from before. The official statement by Laurian Studios states that there is no controller support, but it doesn’t tell us whether we should expect it or not.

There is no further information about this topic, at least not from Laurian Studios themselves. But my guess is that there won’t be any controller compatibility added in the future.

Bear with me, this is just my personal opinion since the developers were under fire before when they introduced controller support for Divinity.

The main talking points were that, they didn’t do a good enough job of making it easy to play on the joystick, and no wonder. As I said, it’s a really complicated game with complex mechanics, which don’t work well with controllers.

There isn’t any way of making the game more compatible with less buttons, and the analog stick on the controller. Nevertheless, this is just conjecture, and we might be surprised, until then this game remains keyboard-only.
