Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the third entry of Insomniac Games’ epic Spider-Man games. This is immediately following Marvel’s Spider-Man and the Miles Morales spin-off games. In this much-anticipated sequel, players can now use Peter Parker and Miles Morales to web-switch through New York City and fight iconic villains such as Kraven the Hunter and Venom.
With both characters being the city’s Spider-Men, it does sound like an awesome idea to swing around New York with a friend. Because of that, it’s not a stretch to imagine a Spider-Man 2 multiplayer or local cooperative gameplay mode.
This “revelation” should not surprise players. This is given that the previous two Insomniac Spider-Man games did not have any multiplayer aspects in any way. Players were not wrong to hope for it.
