Today’s Sova Recon Bolt Lineup compilation takes us to VALORANT’s most unique map: Haven.
Haven features a triple bomb site setup, unheard of in a tactical shooting game such as VALORANT and CS:GO. This new layout is a breath of fresh air for competitive shooters as it forces players to be creative with their team compositions and map positioning.
Sova’s Recon Bolt can be an invaluable asset in a map like Haven since Sova can easily gather early information for his teammates through his Signature Ability: Recon Bolt.
With that in mind, we have compiled five early information Recon Bolt lineups to make gameplay in Haven less hellish and more Havenly.
Heavenly Haven
Today’s Sova Recon Bolt lineup takes us to an interesting map to play in VALORANT: Haven.
Haven is VALORANT’s first-ever triple-bombsite map, featuring an A-bomb site, B-bomb site, and now a C-bomb site. Because of how this unique triple bomb-site map is laid out, Haven can be quite difficult for both attackers and defenders to play in.
Attackers will have a hard time entering bomb sites because of the narrow passageways towards any of the three bomb sites. Defenders can simply smoke off these entryways and effectively stall or stop an Attacker push easily.
On the other hand, Defenders will have a hard time defending and retaking in Haven. Because of the extra bomb site in Haven, Defenders will have to watch four to five different entryways as a team. This means that each entryway will only have one defender since teams in VALORANT consist of just five total players. Retakes are also quite difficult for Defenders as the entryways towards either of the three bomb sites, as mentioned before, are quite narrow and easy to smoke out or wall off.
Sova Recon Bolt
Sova’s Recon Bolt is arguably one of the most valuable Signature Agent Abilities in all of VALORANT.
Recon Bolt is a cooldown-based Ability that refreshes every forty (40) seconds. Players can add up to two Bounces to the Recon Bolt Arrow, which opens up a world of possibilities in terms of lineups. His Recon Bolt also features a charge meter so Sova players can alter the total distance the Arrow travels before it lands.
When used correctly, Sova’s Recon Bolt is the closest thing players can get to wallhacks without the repercussions associated with hacking. When placed at certain spots within Spike Sites, Recon Bolt can reveal most of, if not everything, inside the Spike Site. This makes it a very powerful tool when Attacking or Defending bomb-sites.
Today we will be focusing on early information Sova Recon Bolt Lineups, which can be very valuable as both an Attacker and Defender in Haven. Let’s get started!
Haven A-site – A-Long/A Garden Early Information Recon Bolt
The first Sova Recon Bolt Lineup on this list is for gathering early information around the A Long and A Garden area.
Whenever Attackers plan on taking A-site, they will most likely try to take control of the A Long and Middle Window area.
Our Recon Bolt lineup for A Long and A Garden will give you and your team the early information needed to help your teammates decide between holding or rotating towards the A-site.
This Recon Bolt lineup also pings anyone standing outside of the Middle Window area.
- Stand in this corner in A-site:
- Turn around and look up towards the sun.
- Place your crosshair on the rightmost side of the sun.
- Charge it to two bars with no bounces added.
When done properly, the Recon Bolt should land on this tree at A Garden:
And cover the A Garden and A Long area:
Haven A-site – A Lobby Early Information Recon Bolt
This next Recon Bolt Lineup reveals anyone standing inside of A Lobby. As mentioned in the Recon Bolt lineup for A Long and A Garden, most teams stack up A Garden and head towards A Lobby to take control of A Long and Sewers. This strategy is a common setup for Attacking A-site in Haven.
This Recon Bolt lineup can also help you clear out A Lobby so you can safely take the Orb just outside of A-site. If you’re feeling brave, you can also try to push out A Long and head towards Mid Window or C Long to catch Attacker off-guard with your unorthodox push.
- Stand in this corner between the wall and the barrier in A-site:
- Look towards the left wall in A Long.
- Place your crosshair just above the left wooden plant hanger.
- Charge it to the max with one added bounce.
When done properly, the Recon Bolt should land inside A Lobby:
And cover all of the A Lobby areas:
Haven B-site – Mid-Courtyard Early Information Recon Bolt
This next Sova Recon Bolt lineup is the most simple lineup on this list. This Recon Bolt lineup is good for gaining early information around the Middle Doors and Middle Courtyard area and even some of Middle Window.
When Attackers decide to take control of the C-site, they will most likely go through the Garage to seize control of that area and secure their C-site take. For B-site Attacker control, they will definitely want to take control of the Middle Courtyard area.
With this in mind, this simple Sova Recon Bolt lineup can help you gather information about how many players are currently around the Middle Courtyard area. This lineup can help you and your team decide if they should rotate over to B or C-site immediately.
When equipped with an Odin, Sova players can even wall bang pinged enemies from Garage Window to Mid Doors. You might be able to score cheap kills this way and hopefully scare off any Attacker around the Mid-Courtyard area.
- Stand anywhere in B-site:
- Place your crosshair along the roofline of this building.
- Charge it to the max with no bounces.
The Recon Bolt should land just on the edge of the roofline.
And reveal most of the Mid-Courtyard area.
Haven Garage – Mid Doors Early Information Recon Bolt
When Attackers decide to take C-site, they usually make it a point to take control of the Garage area. The Attackers do this to secure the areas where rotating Defenders will try to make a move when trying to retake C-site.
Knowing this, defenders must take control of the outside Mid Doors area. A Recon Bolt that reveals the Mid Doors area will make Attackers think twice about taking further space towards the Garage. This can help your team in securing C-site and greatly improves your team’s chances of defending a C-site attack.
- Look for the triple stacked boxes inside Garage.
- Place your crosshair on the center of the middle box’s left strip and hug the box.
- Turn around towards the stacked boxes outside of Garage.
- Place the tip of the left bounce indicator on the left corner of the double boxes.
- Do a max charge with two bounces.
When done properly the Recon Bolt should land here:
And cover most of the outside-Garage and Middle Lane area.
Haven C-site – C Long/C Lobby Early Information Recon Bolt
We are now down to our last early information Recon Bolt Lineup for Haven. This last Recon Bolt Lineup covers most if not all of the C Lobby area, including some of the Spawn Lane.
This Recon Bolt lineup can help deter the enemy team from continuing their push towards C-site as this Recon Bolt lineup will ping almost every Attacker around the C Long and C Lobby area.
This Recon Bolt lineup is also very stealthy, as it lands hidden on the tree just above the C Long Arch.
- Look for these boxes in Haven C-site:
- Tuck yourself in the corner.
- Look for this tower:
- Place the tip of second line of the Recon Bolt charge indicator on this edge of the tower:
- Charge it to three bars with no bounces.
When done properly, the Recon Bolt should land on this tree in C Lobby:
And cover most of C Lobby and some of Spawn:
Sova’s Haven
Because of Haven’s triple bomb sites, it is quite difficult to Defend with just five people. Your team will have to split up and defend the multiple bomb-site entryways in Haven.
Sova’s Recon Bolt is a very valuable piece of kit in Haven. Through Sova’s Recon Bolt Lineups, you will be able to gain early information about the enemy’s whereabouts early on in the round. This information can help your team stack a few more players towards the Attacker’s site of interest, which increases your chance of effectively defending any of the three bomb sites.
With that said, we hope that you will find these lineups useful whenever you find yourself playing as Sova in Haven.
