Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in olden times in the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the Hisui region, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (or just Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every Hisui Region Pokemon species to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.

How to Evolve Roselia into Roserade in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

In the game, there are certain Pokemon that the player cannot catch or are hard to catch in the wild. One of the methods to catch these Pokemon is through evolution. One of these Pokemon is Roserade, and in this guide, you will learn how to evolve Roselia into a Roserade!

Roselia into Roserade

Roserade is a Grass and Poison type Bouquet Pokemon that looks like a bouquet of flowers in a masquerade attire. Roserade has white rose petals as its hair, a green mask over its red eyes, blue and red flowers for hands, and a green and leafy cape.

Roserade’s male counterpart has a shorter cape than its female counterpart. According to its Pokedex entry in the game, there are poisonous thorned whips that are hidden inside the bouquet of Roserade’s hands, and Roserade will use them to lash out at its prey mercilessly after Roserade moves gracefully to corner it.

Roserade can actually be found in the Cloudpool Ridge in the Crimson Mirelands, and it can be found in this location in every weather condition. However, Roserade can only be found here during the day. It is also worth noting that the Roserade that can be found in this location is an Alpha Pokemon.

Also, Roserade can be found in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Crimson Mirelands.

However, if you would rather obtain a Roserade through evolution, the player can catch one by evolving a Roselia using a Shiny Stone. To do that, the player must first know where to find a Roselia.

Roselia

The player may find a Roselia in the Crimson Mirelands (around Gapejaw Bog and the Cloudpool Ridge) and the Coronet Highlands (around Fabled Spring). Roselia can be found in these locations at all times of the day and in every weather condition. Aside from that, Roselia may also be found in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Crimson Mirelans.

If you plan on distracting it with food before catching it, it is worth mentioning that Roselia’s preferred foods are Springy Mushrooms, Dazzling Honey, and Crunchy Salts.

If you plan on battling a Roselia first before catching it, it is worth noting that, as mentioned, Roselia is a Grass and Poison type Pokemon which means it has a weakness in Fire-type, Flying-type, Ice-type, and Psychic-type moves (super effective), a resistance to Electric-type, Fairy-type, Fighting-type, and Water-type moves (not very effective), and immunity to Grass-type moves (no effect)

Shiny Stone

Now that the player has caught a Roselia, all that is needed to evolve a Roselia to Roserade is a Shiny Stone. There are several ways that the player can obtain a Shiny Stone:

The player may also obtain a Shiny Stone by breaking Tumblestone Ores that are shaking. Breaking these shaking ores, however, will result in a Pokemon like Geodude or Graveler popping out and battling the player.

Other than that, the player may find some Shiny Stones on the ground inside of Space-Time Distortions, so make sure to check out the items inside them.

Alternatively, the player can purchase a Shiny Stone for 5,000 Pokemon Dollars from Ginter at the Gingko Guild Shop in between the Galaxy Hall and the player’s headquarters. However, Ginter will call it a Dazzling Rock. Unfortunately, the items that the Gingko Guild Merchants sell are not the same all the time, so that purchasable items may vary. To change the items that Ginter is selling, the player must first catch 20 Pokemon.

The player can also purchase a Shiny Stone from the Trading Post near the Training Grounds for only 1200 Merit Points. The player can earn Merit Points by returning lost satchels all over the Hisui region.

Finally, Roserade!

After catching a Roselia and obtaining a Shiny Stone, the player can evolve a Roselia into a Roserade!

To do that, this is what the player must do:

  1. Put the player’s Roselia in the Player’s party by talking to the Galaxy Member near the tent on any of the Base Camps, selecting “I want to see my Pokemon” on the prompt, or heading to the Pastures in the eastern part of Jubilife Village.
  2. Then, ensure that the Shiny Stone is in the player’s Satchel. If not, the player can access the Item Storage in any of the Base Camps or the Item Storage near the Front Gate in the northeastern part of Jubilife City and move the Shiny Stone to the player’s Satchel.
  3. After that, return to the game and press the up directional button to open the player’s Satchel.
  4. Select the Shiny Stone, select “Use” on the prompt, then select Roselia from the player’s party to use the Shiny Stone on Roselia.
  5. Confirm on the prompt to evolve Roselia then, just like that, Roselia will evolve into a Roserade!

Now that the player has a Roserade, the player can try to use the Roserade to complete other requests, missions, or Arceus’ task for the player, which is to catch ‘em all!
