Forza Horizon 5 features hundreds of cars and even more events where you can take your cars to race or hang out with friends.
Unfortunately, Forza Horizon 5 does not allow players to “gift” cars to specific players. This is probably because the devs do not want to create a black market type of deal where cars in-game can be exchanged for in-game or even real-world money.
The devs, however, have added a sweet feature that allows you to “gift” cars to random people.
Season Of Giving
December is fast approaching. With the season of giving upon us, you might be thinking about giving a random player a very special car.
Forza Horizon 5 allows players to do “Gift Drops.” This gift drop is basically a gifted car to five very deserving in-game demographics:
- Anyone – Completely random person playing the game.
- New Players – gift a car to a random player playing the game for the very first time.
- Returning Players – chooses players who come from a very long layoff who just recently returned to the game.
- New Hall of Fame Members – gifts a car to new members of the Forza Horizon 5 Hall of Fame.
- Community Contributors – gifts a car to any one of the Community Members to thank them for their contributions.
Barn Find, but just a tad sweeter.
Gifting cars in Forza Horizon 5 can be done by:
- Go into the main menu and select “My Horizon”:
2. Click on “Gift Drop”:
Alternatively, you can travel to the closes Barn Find area and access the Gift Drop feature from there.
These Gift Drops can also be accessed from any of the 14 Barn Find sites in Forza Horizon 5.
Whenever you find yourself right by a Barn Find location, an onscreen pop-up will prompt you whether you would like to Send & Receive Cars.
Pressing “Enter” will take you to your car collection screen:
From here, you can choose from any car in your collection to give out to a very lucky stranger.
As mentioned above, you can choose from one of five different community groups in Forza Horizon 5. Today, we are giving one out for a very lucky “New Player.”
Forza Horizon 5 has added a great way of paying it forward within the game. This can undoubtedly strengthen the bond between the members of the community and adds a very welcome sense of camaraderie within the game.
We received a random car upon our first launch of the game. We just lately realized what that was about. Now that we have the complete picture of what happened then, we are going to pay it forward once more.
Upon confirming the community group within Forza Horizon 5 that you would like to send the car to, the player will be given a choice of messages that they can send out to the lucky receiver.
We personally choose “Hope you’ll enjoy the game as much as I do!” just because we enjoyed this game very much. We really do.
Once that’s done, the player will then be prompted about how they would like to sign the gift. We can always give it out without plastering our name all over the car. However, the choice is always yours.
We hope the random lucky person who receives this very expensive Lexus LFA will enjoy the car as much as we did! The car is, after all, worth quite a few hours of honest gameplay to acquire.
Finally, the game will prompt you that your chosen car will be removed from your Garage.

Forza Horizon 5 isn’t just about cars. This game integrates social interaction so tastefully that it helps the community build itself to become a haven for car lovers everywhere.
Sure, racing around a fast track against some of the fastest racers in-game can make your heart race as well. But nothing will ever beat riding low and slow around the mountains with your friends. That’s what the game is all about.
