In Gears 5, there are hundreds of easter eggs that the developers have implemented in the game. While it might be extremely difficult to find some of them, others are relatively easy. However, that is not the case with the Juvie easter egg. It is extremely difficult to find it as, you will need to do a couple of steps accordingly without any mistakes to find it.
From this easter egg, you can get three pretty bonkers weapons. Those include: Lancer GL Relic, Embar Relic, and Retro Lancer Relic.
It takes place in the Hivebusters DLC, but more specifically, in chapter five from it. You can do it on any difficulty, and you’ll still be able to get the weapons!
How to Get Juvie Easter Egg – Gears 5 Hivebusters
What you need to do is select “The Hunt” Chapter 5 firstly. Start the game, and the most important things is to look for Juvies on your left.
This will require a lot of focus, since you can easily miss this NPC. When you see it, you must kill it while sliding, which is why I recommend playing this mission on beginner difficulty.
Nevertheless, since this is quite hard to do, and the matter is more or less, do or die, this is what you need to do exactly:
NOTE: Follow the steps carefully.
- Select The Hunt and click play.
- Slide down the first time.
- Clear the enemies, and then continue sliding.
- Always look left when sliding down the second time! A Juvie will spawn in the top-left corner of the screen, make sure to take it down!
- When you do that, you reset its spawn, and when you finish sliding, it will spawn at that location.
If you didn’t kill this NPC, kindly restart the campaign, and try it until you do.
When you finish sliding for the second time, kill the Juvie. It will drop the three weapons I mentioned above, which are: Embar Relic, Retro Lancer Relic, and Lancer GL Relic.
All in all, a pretty rewarding easter egg, and relatively easy to do. This is probably why you should shoot your enemies while sliding in chapter five!
