However, out of all the new content brought by the Los Santos Drug Wars update, the new Acid Lab has been the talk of the town.

This quick guide will show you how to get an Acid Lab in GTA 5/GTA Online.

What is the Acid Lab in GTA 5?

The Acid Lab is one of many businesses you can own in GTA 5/GTA Online. However, unlike brick-and-mortar businesses such as the Night Club or Arcade, the Acid Lab is mobile, housed inside an armored laboratory truck – a Brickade 6×6.

Running an acid lab involves sourcing supplies, producing acid products, storing them, and selling them for profit. You could also upgrade the Acid Lab for $250,000 by completing 10 Fooligan Jobs to get even more profit.

Selling Acid Lab products involves delivering the product to specific locations on the map. You can take the Brickade 6×6 to the location or use the Maibatsu Manchez Scout C to complete your deliveries.

The Acid Lab was added back in the Los Santos Drug Wars update. It became available soon after as the First Dose 6 – Off The Rails mission was completed. Players had to fork out considerable cash to set up an Acid Lab.

How to Get the Acid Lab

There are two ways to get the Acid Lab in GTA 5/GTA Online. You can complete the First Dose 6 mission or purchase the Brickade 6×6 from Warstock Cache & Carry.

Get the Acid Lab by completing the First Dose 6 – Off The Rails

You must complete the First Dose 6 – Off The Rails mission to get the Brickade 6×6. It is there where you will acquire a Humane Labs Brickade 6×6 required to set up an Acid Lab.

Complete the Los Santos Drug Wars missions to get an Acid Lab in GTA 5

In that mission, you will be tasked to steal from a train containing super pure chemicals and a truck (Brickade 6×6). After you collect all five target chemicals from the train containers, you have to steal the Brickade 6×6 and drive away from the pursuing Merryweather agents. Take the truck to The Freakshop to complete the mission.

You will receive a setup mission where you will be tasked to collect the equipment required to convert the truck into an Acid Lab after you deliver the Brickade 6×6 to The Freakshop. After collecting the necessary equipment, you must pay Mutt $750,000 to convert the Brickade 6×6 into an Acid Lab.

Get the Acid Lab by purchasing the Brickade 6×6

If you don’t want to play through The First Dose 6, just purchase the Brickade 6×6 from Warstock Cache & Carry.

Is an Acid Lab worth it in GTA 5?

You can earn hundreds of thousands of dollars in a few hours through the Acid Lab, making it one of the most profitable businesses in GTA 5. A fully upgraded Acid Lab will get you $335,200 for a full acid stock. You can get even more ($500,000) if you sell your product in a public session.

However, the nature of the business makes it tedious and risky, especially when you’re playing in a public session.

It is important to note that selling your Acid product will require you to take your truck or motorcycle to a specific location on the map. You will alert other players of your activity, subjecting you to grievers and other players looking to reign on your parade.
