Unfortunately, a tow truck service is absent in the unmodded version of GTA 5, and there is currently no way to call for one in either Story Mode or Online.

To add a tow truck service in GTA 5, mod the game and add the necessary files to enable third-party functionality that lets you tow away vehicles in-game.

With the Towing Service 2.2 by Eddlm/mkeezay30 from the gta5-mods website, you can call a tow truck, which will then tow away the nearest vehicle at your current location. Bring up the cheats console to use this mod and type “call tow” to tow the nearest vehicle.

Another tow truck mod you can try is the Tow Truck Service [.NET] 1.3 by qweradzxc from the gta5-mods website. Simply press T on your keyboard to call a tow truck with this mod installed. A Tow Truck should spawn in the area and tow away the nearest vehicle next to you.

Where can you find a tow truck in GTA 5?

The Tow Truck is a relatively rare vehicle that can be challenging to find in the wild. Nevertheless, you might find a Tow Truck in the following locations:
