Who is Packie McReary?
Packie McReary is the youngest brother of the McReary Clan and a member of the McReary Crime Family. He is of Irish-American Nationality and has made a living by engaging in Robbery and Drug Dealing.
Packie McReary has made appearances in multiple Grand Theft Auto games. McReary played a central role in Grand Theft Auto IV as Niko Bellic’s crew mate. He played minor roles in The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. In GTA 5, McReary is an unlockable heist member.
Where do I find Packie McReary in GTA 5?
Packie McReary is in the Getaway Driver Random Event in GTA 5. In that Random Event, Packie McReary and his partner can be seen robbing a Dollar Pills Store in Strawberry. Complete Getaway Driver the right way, and you will get Packie McReary as an optional gunman.
Packie McReary is one of the best gunmen you can get in GTA 5. He will not fail in any heist you choose to play him in and will perform well in any situation. But while he has some of the highest gunman stats of any crew member in the game, he also takes a relatively large cut after the heist (12%).
How do you get Packie McReary as a gunman?
You can get Packie McReary as a gunman after you complete the Getaway Driver Random Event. You can trigger this Random Event right after you complete the Strangers & Freaks mission Pulling Favors with Tonya.
After you complete Pulling Favors, head to the Dollar Pills Store in Strawberry, and the Getaway Driver Random Event should spawn automatically. You should find Packie McReary and his partner in the area, and a BLUE dot should pop up on your minimap, indicating the Random Event has spawned in the area.
Help Packie McReary and his partner escape the police, and Packie will offer his services to you in future heists in GTA 5.

Packie McReary is an experienced criminal with tons of experience under his belt. He was a prominent member of the McReary Crime Family and part of a well-known bank robbery in Liberty City with GTA IV’s main character, Niko Bellic.
