So you have decided to flip cars for a living? Here’s how to sell your stolen rides in GTA Online.
There is a good reason why Grand Theft Auto is named the way it is. Fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise know that the earliest installments of GTA’s gameplay revolved a lot around finding, driving, and completing missions through vehicles.
Through the years and multiple installments later, Grand Theft Auto’s gameplay has expanded to more than just cars. Other vehicles such as motorcycles, boats, and even aircraft have been added to the franchise’s growing in-game vehicle content.
However, cars will always have a special place in any Grand Theft Auto game. GTA Online features the most comprehensive car list and tuning upgrades of any Grand Theft Auto game to date.
Stealing cars has always been the Grand Theft Auto way of life. And in this article, we will show you how to sell your stolen vehicles for a quick buck in GTA Online.
How to Sell Cars in GTA Online
Most of the cars in GTA Online can be sold at any Los Santos Customs location. However, there is a catch – stolen personal vehicles cannot be sold through Los Santos Customs, and cars worth more than $50,000 will not be accepted as well.
- Choose and steal the car of your choice:
- Head towards the nearest Los Santos Customs
- Upon entering Los Santos Customs, select ‘Sell Car’
- Done!
Which cars are the most valuable in GTA Online?
While almost every car in GTA Online is worth something, selling a hundred cookies won’t make you as much money as selling a hundred muffins.
If you’re after efficiency and want to make the most money in the shortest time possible, aim for luxury coupes and SUVs, as these vehicles are worth the most money. Stay away from beater sedans and subcompact cars, as these won’t fetch as much money as coupes and SUVs.
For example, stolen vehicles such as the Ubermacht Zion can be sold for as much as $8,200 in mint condition.
In addition, cars that come with upgrades such as body kits and aftermarket wheels will be more valuable when sold through Los Santos Customs.
Lastly, try to keep your stolen car as mint as possible, as any damage your stolen car incurs while you make your way towards the nearest Los Santos Customs can only be sold for less than if it was in mint condition.
Steal Flip Repeat
The game is called Grand Theft Auto for a reason – you should be and about Los Santos stealing and searching for high-value cars to flip at Los Santos Customs.
Of course, remember to enjoy the car while you’re at it since cars are more scarce around GTA Online servers. You’ll never know when you’ll come across a similar car online.
