GTA 5: Rampage - Hipsters Mission Guide (Gold Medal)

Two things that will set off Trevor in the Rampage series of missions in GTA 5 are mom-related slurs and jokes about his Canadian accent. Gangs, Rednecks, and even the military have made this fatal mistake in their respective ‘Rampage’ missions in GTA 5, and all three groups have lost significant members from Trevor’s rampages.

Rampage-Hipsters is the fifth and last ‘Rampage’ mission in Strangers & Freaks, where Trevor goes against a large group of hipsters.

In this guide, we have outlined everything you need to know about Rampage-Hipsters and how you can get a Gold Medal for completing the mission in GTA 5.

Rampage – Hipsters Synopsis

Trevor was just having a nice stroll through Nikola Avenue when he spotted a hipster wearing an offensive statement shirt. The hipster was chilling on his phone when Trevor suddenly swat the phone out of the hipster’s hand and threw it on the ground.

Trevor then confronts the guy and tells him he cannot stand post-ironic hipsters, so the hipster comes back by telling Trevor to ‘go back to Canada.’ Triggered by yet another accent-related insult, Trevor picks up a shotgun from the ground and points it at the hipster, causing the hipster to flee in terror and call for backup.

Waves of hipsters arrive at the area and start shooting at Trevor. Consumed by rage, Trevor starts shooting at the incoming hipsters, taking down one hipster to another. Equipped with a shotgun, Trevor had to run toward each hipster to shoot them down. Trevor eventually takes down no less than 20 hipsters and multiple vehicles when he finally regains control of his temper.

Rampage – Hipsters Gold Medal Objectives

  • Make 30 kills
  • Get 10 headshots
  • Destroy 2 vehicles

Unlike most other missions in GTA 5, you cannot replay Rampage Missions. You must complete all three Gold Medal Objectives in a single playthrough.

Rampage – Hipsters Mission Guide

Trevor will pick up a sawed-off shotgun next to the hipster’s table. This will signal the start of Trevor’s Rampage.

Chase after the first hipster to get your first kill and headshot. For the first ten hipsters, aim for their heads to complete the ten headshot requirement.

You need to stand close to the hipsters to land those headshots cleanly. You’ll know when you hit a clean headshot through a guitar riff sound cue that plays each time you kill a hipster.

10 10

After you secure the 10 headshots, you can start killing each hipster any way you like. Just ensure you can kill 30 of them before the timer runs out.

Some of the hipsters will arrive in Weeny Issi (Mini Coopers). Use your grenade to blow up two of these to check off the ‘Destroy Vehicles’ objective.

The True Hipster

Trevor’s Intermittent Explosive Disorder will cause him to go into a rage-filled rampage in a heartbeat. The Rampage series of missions in GTA 5 shows how aggressive Trevor can get on anyone who makes fun of him or gets on his nerves. It doesn’t matter if it’s a well-known gang or highly-trained military men; Trevor will exact his rage on anything and everything.

Rampage-Hipsters is the last Rampage mission in GTA 5 and is one of the easiest missions in the series. Score ten headshots, get 30 kills, and blow up two vehicles, and you’ll get a Gold Medal for this mission in one run. Just follow the tips we have for you in the guide above, and you’ll be on your way to getting a Gold Medal in this mission.
