Contrary to the game’s title, you play as Zagreus, son of Hades. As he tries to escape the Underworld, domain of Hades, he acquires several weapons to battle monsters and bosses. He can upgrade them to increase their effectiveness, but doing so requires Titan Blood.

How to Get More Titan Blood in Hades

There are several ways to obtain Titan Blood in Hades, some repeatable and others exclusive. When you have 306 Titan Blood, you can upgrade every aspect of all available weapons and use the rest of it for other purposes.

Obtaining Titan’s Blood in Hades

There are six sources of Titan Blood in Hades:

d1 1
  • Beat the first and final bosses with each weapon once (12 Titan Blood)
  • Bounties for the above bosses defeating them with each weapon at increasing heat levels (240 Titan Blood, total)
  • Fated List of Minor Prophecies rewards (43 Titan Blood in total)
  • Trading with the Wretched Broker
  • Buying from Charon in the Temple of Styx
  • Fishing in Greece or the final boss’ area

In short, you’ll have to play many runs to get enough Titan Blood for upgrading all weapon aspects. Below is an explanation for some of the methods listed.

Fated List of Minor Prophecies

d2 1

The Fated List of Minor Prophecies are 55 tasks to complete. After Zagreus commissions the House Contractor to build a desk, he can start clearing the various tasks.

Some of these tasks are as simple as initiating conversations with other characters. Others are more complicated, involving boss battles or doing things a certain way. When you’re finished with these side missions, you’ll get a total of 43 Titan’s Blood.

Trading With the Wretched Broker

d3 1

When you unlock the Wretched Broker, you can get Titan Blood from him. Some of his trades are repeatable, such as:

  • 1,000 Gemstones for one Titan Blood
  • 100 Chthonic Key for one Titan Blood
  • 20 Nectar for one Titan Blood
  • Two Diamonds for one Titan Blood
  • One Ambrosia for one Titan Blood

As for limited trades, you can try aiming for them if they fit your budget. However, it would help if you stuck to the repeatable ones because they’re a sustainable source.

Charon’s Shop

d4

Charon’s Shop is located in the Temple of Styx, and he can sell you Titan Blood. If you have a Loyalty Card, you can get it at a lower price.

You can get one Titan Blood for 1,200 Charon’s Obols, but the Loyalty Card reduces the price to 960. This offer doesn’t often appear, though, so you’ll have to rely on luck for this price break.

Fishing for Sturgeon

d5

The Sturgeon is a legendary fish you can find when fishing in Greece or the final boss area. If you are lucky enough to catch one, you can visit the Head Chef and trade it for one Titan Blood.

However, if you get the next best thing, a Bass, you get one Ambrosia, and that’s enough to exchange for one Titan Blood with the Wretched Broker.

More often than not, you’ll catch common species instead. So, some of the other methods are more reliable if you’re trying to farm Titan Blood.

Potent Blood

There’s a lot of grinding and luck involved before you can finally unlock every weapon’s aspect in Hades. While Bounties are the best method, you still need around 60 more. In time, you’ll get enough for all the upgrades and purchases that require Titan Blood.
