Titles in Helldivers 2 are a measure of experience worn by players. Here’s a list of all titles and how to get them.
Each Title in Helldivers 2 is earned after players reach a certain level or rank. Just like armor, these titles can be worn and changed anytime. Although titles don’t offer any stats or gear bonuses, they serve as bragging rights to your squad.
As a Helldiver advances in rank, they unlock far more than just new titles. Certain rank progression grants access to a broader array of Stratagems and Ship Modules, enhancing your tactical capabilities on the battlefield.
Additionally, higher ranks unlock missions of increased difficulty, offering a more significant challenge and a more rewarding experience. These tougher missions reward plenty of Samples, which can be used to purchase Ship Modules.

In Helldivers 2, every title is tied solely to reaching a specific level or rank bracket, with no other prerequisites. Helldivers must accumulate in-game experience to earn these ranks by completing primary objectives and side missions during their campaigns.

How to Change Your Title
Helldivers 2 Title can easily be equipped or changed in the game. While on your ship, head to the Armory and interact with the display:
- While in the Armory, select the Character Tab.
- Select Title.
- Choose the Title you like.
- Press Equip.

As you progress through the game, completing missions and side objectives and collecting samples, you gain experience that increases your Level or Rank. Aside from unlocking new stratagems, weapons, and modules, reaching a certain Rank rewards you Titles. It’s fairly easy!
