Mantis Claw Ability

The ability to wall jump is called the Mantis Claw ability. With this ability, the Knight can jump toward a wall to cling to it. Then, the Knight can jump up to a higher point. The Knight can jump up the wall an unlimited number of times. This, then, enables the Knight to climb up walls. If the Knight does not do anything, the Knight will slowly slide down the wall.

The Knight can find and learn the Mantis Claw ability at the end of a closed path near the westernmost part of the Mantis Village. The Mantis Village is a sub-area in the southern part of the Fungal Wastes area.

Requirements

Before the Knight can head to the Mantis Village and get the Mantis Claw ability, the Knight must first have learned one specific ability. This is the Mothwing Cloak ability. This ability enables the Knight to dash a short distance forward horizontally. The Knight can acquire this ability after defeating Hornet in the Greenpath area.

It is also important to note that the player should also be proficient in Nail-bouncing. There are parts on the way to the wall jump ability where the Knight must Nail-bounce on purple mushrooms.

Enemies

The Knight will run into many enemies while getting the Mantis Claw ability. Specifically, the Knight will encounter Vengeflies, Goams, an Aspid Hunter, Fungoons, Shrumal Warriors, Shrumelings, Sports, a Fungified Husk, Amblooms, Mantis Youths, and Mantis Warriors.
