Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in the old times in the Pokemon world at a time when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the land of the Hisui region, which will be known as the Sinnoh region in modern times, you’ll join the Galaxy Expedition Team (or just Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every species of Pokémon from the Hisui region to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.

How to Evolve Electabuzz into Electivire in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

In the game, there are certain Pokemon that the player cannot catch or are hard to catch in the wild. One of the methods to catch these Pokemon is through evolution. One of these Pokemon is Electivire and in this guide, you will learn how to evolve Electabuzz into an Electivire!

Electabuzz into Electivire

Electivire is an Electric type Thunderbolt Pokemon with a large humanoid body, yellow fur, black stripes, red eyes, a black spot on its forehead, a black electric outlet symbol on its back, and two antennae with bulbous tips. According to its Pokedex entry in the game, Electivire’s electrical output rises along with its heart rate. Additionally, Electivire can unleash an electric current measuring up to 20,000 volts from its tails.

Electivire can only be found in Cloudcap Pass in the Coronet Highlands. Electivire can be found in this location at all times of the day and in every weather condition. It is worth noting that the Electivire that can be found in the location mentioned is an Alpha Pokemon. Other than that, Electivire can also be found in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Coronet Highlands.

However, if you would rather obtain an Electivire through evolution, the player can catch one by evolving an Electabuzz using an Electirizer. To do that, the player must first know where to find an Electabuzz.

The player can find an Electabuzz in the Coronet Highlands (in Cloudcap Pass) and the Alabaster Icelands (east of Arena’s Approach and north of Icebound Falls). Electabuzz can be found in these locations at all times of the day and in every weather condition. Aside from that, Electabuzz may also be found in Space-Time Distortions or Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Coronet Highlands.

If you plan on distracting it with food before catching it, it is worth mentioning that Electabuzz’s preferred foods are Springy Mushrooms, Dazzling Honey, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans.

Suppose you plan on battling an Electabuzz first before catching it. In that case, it is worth noting that, as mentioned, Electabuzz is an Electric type Pokemon which means it has a weakness to Ground-type- moves (super effective) and resistance to Electric-type, Flying-type, and Steel-type moves (not very effective).

Electirizer

Now that the player has caught an Electabuzz, all that is needed to evolve an Electabuzz to Electivire is an Electirizer. There are several ways that the player can obtain an Electirizer:

The player can purchase an Electirizer for 10,000 Pokemon Dollars from Ginter at the Gingko Guild Shop between the Galaxy Hall and the player’s headquarters. However, Ginter will call it an Electricity Box. Unfortunately, the items that the Gingko Guild Merchants sell are not the same all the time, so purchasable items may vary. To change the items that Ginter is selling, the player must first catch 20 Pokemon.

The player can also purchase an Electirizer from the Trading Post near the Training Grounds for only 1400 Merit Points. The player can earn Merit Points by returning lost satchels all over the Hisui region.

Other than that, the player may find some Electirizers on the ground inside of Space-Time Distortions, so check out the items inside them.

Out of all the methods mentioned above, the easiest way to obtain an Electirizer is by purchasing one from the Trading Post for 1400 Merit Points.

Finally, Electivire!

After catching an Electabuzz and obtaining an Electirizer, the player can now evolve an Electabuzz into an Electivire!

To do that, this is what the player must do:

  1. Put the player’s Electabuzz in the Player’s party by talking to the Galaxy Member near the tent on any of the Base Camps, selecting “I want to see my Pokemon” on the prompt, or heading to the Pastures in the eastern part of Jubilife Village.
  2. Then, make sure that the Electirizer is in the player’s Satchel. If not, the player can access the Item Storage in any of the Base Camps or the Item Storage near the Front Gate in the northeastern part of Jubilife City and move the Electirizer to the player’s Satchel.
  3. After all that, return to the game and press the up directional button to open the player’s Satchel.
  4. Select the Electirizer, select “Use” on the prompt, then select Electabuzz from the player’s party to use the Electirizer on Electabuzz.
  5. Confirm on the prompt to evolve Electabuzz then, just like that, Electabuzz will evolve into an Electivire!

Now that the player has an Electivire, the player can now try to use the Electivire to complete other requests, complete missions, or complete Arceus’ task for the player, which is to catch ‘em all!
