Resident Evil Village is finally out, and there is a lot of positive feedback. The game blends puzzle-solving and action into one beautiful mix. However, even though the game is widely available on multiple platforms, there is no support for it on the Mac. Or is there? Well, officially no, but players have found ways to bypass this. Today, we will show you how to play Resident Evil Village on a Mac!

To achieve this, we will need to use some sort of an emulator, or a virtual machine. Otherwise, there is no way to play the game. With a virtual machine, a Windows PC can be emulated on the Mac, hence allowing you to play Resident Evil Village.

How do you do this though? Well, to play Resident Evil Village, one must use Parallels- a Windows virtual machine for the Mac, and use that to launch and play the game.

Parallels is a paid software, but there is also a free trial period where customers can get a taste of what this emulator is capable of. However, before you start to do this, make sure that your computer has the minimum necessary requirements to run Resident Evil Village.

Then, navigate to Parallels official download page, and download the software. Once downloaded, open it, and follow the instructions to properly install the application.

Once that has been done, you can open it and setup a Windows machine on it. This might take a while, but soon enough, you will be able to install Resident Evil Village on it, or any other game that is supported on Windows, and not supported on the Mac.

Sure, there might be some input lag, or some overhead, but this is better than nothing. For now, this is the only way to play Village, and there is no official information on whether the developers will make the game compatible for the Mac. However, it is highly unlikely.

Now, the game cannot be played through Wine, which works on a similar architecture to Parallels, but with much less overhead, and more optimized. In the future though, it might be added.
