What Is The Max Level – New World
Now, I know that I sound quite uninterested in New World, but it is quite the contrary. I do believe that this game looks sick, and I can’t wait for the full release.
With the passing of each day, more and more things get cleared up. What about the max level in this game though? Will there be enough content and enough levels for a pleasurable experience?
Yes, the max level cap in New World will be 60 levels. I know that this sounds like it is very little, but honestly, it all depends on the level scaling and progress curve. In theory, it is possible for a game to, let’s say, have two levels, but to reach level two, it can take 1000+ hours of play time.
What I’m trying to say is, while many are publicly stating that 60 levels aren’t enough, there is an issue. While we do know the max level, we’re still unaware of how the level scaling will work.
How many quests there will be, how much experience players will get from certain tasks or actions are all things which we don’t know, yet.
We’ll see how things shape up in the future, as more and more information comes to light, but even knowing the max level for New World, isn’t that helpful in terms of knowing how the actual gaming experience will be like.
In the past few weeks, anticipation has been running high, but I would say that there is a lot of press and media surrounding this game, so things might get a little bit too good to be true. After all, we don’t want another Cyberpunk 2077 on our hands.
