Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in the early days of the Pokemon universe when humans and Pokémon were anything but allies.
This game occurred in the Pokemon universe’s Hisui region before being renamed the Sinnoh region. The player must catch every Pokémon in this region to complete Hisui’s first Pokédex, which is used to learn about Pokémon.
The player will be assigned to the Survey Corps by the Galaxy Expedition Team (also known as the Galaxy Team) in Jubilife Village, which studies the Pokemon in the region.
This guide will discuss everything you need to know about Beautifly!
Beautifly
Beautifly, the 20th Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Bug and Flying type Butterfly Pokemon with a dark gray and white body that looks like that of a, well, butterfly, a round head, a white face, a pair of round blue eyes with black pupils, a pair of black antennae with rounded tips, four, gray, stubby limbs, a black, long, nose that has a curled end, and two pairs of wings that have a black main color with yellow, red, and blue accents with the upper pair being larger and has a yellow outline on its top edge and the lower pair being smaller and has a long extension on the bottom with rounded tips.
According to its Pokedex entry in the game, even though it is beautiful and colorful, Beautifly is a greedy Pokemon to the point that it will chase away Combee as they try to gather nectar just so Beautifly can keep all of its favorite food to itself.
Basic Information
Beautifly is a Bug and Flying type Pokemon which means it has a weakness to Electric-type, Fire-type, Flying type, Ice type, and especially Rock-type moves (super effective), a resistance to Bug type and especially Fighting type and Grass-type moves (not very effective), and immunity to Ground-type moves (no effect).
Beautifly’s base stats are 60 HP, 70 Attack, 50 Defense, 100 Special Attack, 50 Special Defense, and 65 Speed for a total of 395.
Beautifly can be evolved from a Silcoon once it reaches Level 10, which evolved from a Wurmple once it reaches Level 7. Wumple will evolve into either a Silcoon or a Cascoon, and the Pokemon that it will evolve to is decided at random.
It is important to note that Beautifly prefers Springy Mushroom, Dazzling Honey, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans if the player feeds it food to lure it before catching it.
Once a Beautifly is defeated or caught, the player will receive a Spoiled Apricorn and a Dazzling Honey.
Location
Beautifly can be found in the following areas:
In the Obsidian Fieldlands: the Floaro Gardens, Grueling Grove, and The Heartwood.
In the Cobalt Coastlands: in Veilstone Cape.
Beautifly can be found in the areas mentioned above in every weather condition but only during the day (morning, midday, and evening).
Additionally, Beautifly can be found in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Obsidian Fieldlands.
Research Tasks
The following are the Research Tasks in Beautifly’s Pokedex entry:
Multiplier | Research Task | Objectives |
x2 | Number caught | 1/2/4/10/15 |
Number caught during daylight hours | 1/2/5/10/20
Number defeated | 1/3/6/12/25
The number you have defeated with Rock-type moves | 1/2/4/6/10
x2 | Times you have seen it use Stun Spore | 1/3/6/12/25 |
x2 | Times you have seen it use an agile style move | 1/3/6/12/25 |
Number of different forms you have obtained | 2 |
By completing an objective for a Research Task, the player can gain a Research Level for a Pokemon’s Pokedex entry. Completing a Research Task objective with an x2 multiplier, on the other hand, will raise two Research Levels. To finish a Pokemon’s Pokedex entry, the player must let it reach Research Level 10.
To quickly complete Beautifly’s Pokedex entry, the player must catch five Beautifly during the daylight hours, which ticks the first, second, and third objectives of the “number caught” and “number caught during the daylight hours” Research Entries to raise the Research Level to 9 thanks to former’s x2 multiplier and make sure that the player has caught at least one male and one female Beautifly, which ticks the only objective of the “Number of different forms you’ve obtained” Research Task to add one more Research Level, to reach Research Level 10.
