Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is an open-world game in which the player takes on the character of a transferee in a large school in the Paldea region. The player is the only one who may choose what to do in the game: disband the nefarious Team Star, finish the Pokedex and catch them all, track down the mysterious new Titan Pokemon, or defeat all of the Pokemon Gyms, become champion, and become the best like no one ever was!
Here, we will discuss how to complete the Pokemon League by defeating the Elite Four and defeating Champion Geeta! A few game plot points will be revealed, so spoiler alert!
Location
The Pokemon League can be found in the northwest of Mesagoza (or southwest of the Great Crater of Paldea) and can be accessed by heading to Mesagoza in the southern end of the Great Crater of Paldea, heading to the northwest end of the Mesagoza (West) Pokemon Center, head up the stairs beside the sandwich shop, enter the cave with a gate, the screen will load and once the game resumes, follow the path to the northwest, then, at the end of the path, the player will find the Pokemon League building and the nearby Pokemon Center.
Before the player can attempt to defeat the Elite Four and Champion Geeta in the Pokemon League, it is required that the player must first defeat all eight Pokemon Gyms all around the Paldea Region.
After doing that, head to the Pokemon League then approach the entrance of the Pokemon League building and a cutscene will play where Champion Geeta is standing near the entrance and telling the player that the Pokemon League, which is the final test that the player must pass to become a Champion, will happen in the building. Champion Geeta will then say that she wishes the player the best of luck and looks forward to meeting the player again soon.
After that, once the player is ready, approach the Pokemon League Staff in front of the entrance, who will ask if the player is ready to face the Pokemon League’s Champion Assessment. Select ‘Yes’ on the prompt, and the Pokemon League Staff will check if the player has collected all eight Gym Badges from the Pokemon Gym Leaders all over the Paldea region; once that is confirmed, the Pokemon League Staff will let the player inside the building.
Pokemon League’s Champion Assessment
Next, the player will be in a room with Rika where she will ask the player to sit on the chair, explain that she will be the interviewer for the first part of the Champion Assessment, and ask the player a bunch of questions. There is no limit to the number of attempts to answer the questions. It is important to answer all the questions correctly, or the player will be asked to leave the room.
The Interview
Before starting, like the Pokemon League Staff at the entrance of the building, Rika will again check if the player has collected all eight Gym Badges. If the player does not have all eight Gym Badges, Rika will ask the player to come back once the player has collected them all.
After confirming that the player has all eight Gym Badges, Rika’s first question is that she will ask how the player got here. For this question, the player can select any of the answers on the prompt.
Next, for the second question, Rika will ask the name of the school the player is enrolled in. The answer to this question depends on the version of the game that the player is playing. Select ‘Naranja Academy’ on the prompt if the player is using the Scarlet version of the game, or select ‘Uva Academy’ if the player uses the Violet version.
Then, for the third question, Rika will ask what brings the player to the Pokemon League. To answer correctly, select ‘I came to become Champion’ on the prompt.
After that, for the fourth question, Rika will ask what the player intends to do if and when the player becomes a Champion. The player can choose any of the answers on the prompt, but it is important to remember what the player answered for this question as it will be used for another question later. For future reference, the choices on the prompt for this question are ‘I want to become even stronger,’ ‘I want to battle Nemona,’ and ‘I want to find treasure.’
Next, for the fifth question, Rika will ask the player which of the eight Pokemon Gyms the player found the most difficult. Select any of the answers on the prompt.
Then, for the sixth question, Rika will ask the name of the Gym Leader the player faced there. For this question, the correct answer depends on the player’s answer in the previous question. Select ‘Katy’ if the player answered Cortondo Gym in the last question, select ‘Brassius’ if the player answered Artazon Gym, select ‘Iono’ if the player answered Levincia Gym, select ‘Kofu’ if the player answered Cascarrafa Gym, select ‘Larry’ if the player answered Medali Gym, select ‘Ryme’ if the player answered Montenevera Gym, select ‘Tulip’ if the player answered Alfornada Gym, or select ‘Grusha’ if the player answered Glaseado Gym.
After that, for the seventh question, Rika will ask what type of Pokemon the Pokemon Gym leader the player answered used. Again, the correct answer depends on the player’s answer to the previous question. Select ‘Bug’ if the player answered Katy in the last question, select ‘Grass’ if the player answered Brassius, select ‘Electric’ if the player answered Iono, like ‘Water’ if the player answered Kofu, select ‘Normal’ if the player answered Larry, select ‘Ghost’ if the player answered Ryme, select ‘Psychic’ if the player answered Tulip, or select ‘Ice’ if the player answered Grusha.
Next, for the eighth question, Rika will ask what is the category of the Pokemon that the player chose to be the player’s first partner. For this question, the correct answer depends on the starter Pokemon the player chose at the beginning of the game.
Select ‘The Grass Cat Pokemon’ if the player chose Sprigatito as the starter Pokemon, select ‘The Fire Croc Pokemon’ if the player chose Fuecoco as the starter Pokemon, or select ‘The Duckling Pokemon’ if the player chose Quaxly as the starter Pokemon.
Then, for the ninth question, Rika will again ask what the player intends to do if and when the player becomes a Champion. For this question, the player must select the same answer that the player chose for the fourth question.
Finally, for the tenth and final question, Rika will ask if the player likes Pokemon. Select ‘Yes’ on the prompt.
After answering all the questions, Rika will congratulate the player for passing the first part of the Champion Assessment!
Elite Four
Then, Rika will explain that the second part of the Champion Assessment is called the Elite Test, where the player will face the Elite Four in Pokemon Battles. Rika will continue that they are the best the League has to offer and that the player will be facing all four of them in a row without turning back.
Select the Pokemon you want to use for all of the Elite Four, stack up on items, then head to the door just behind Rika once the player is ready. After that, the first battle against the Elite Four will commence!

Pokemon League Tips
As the Elite Four and Top Champion Geeta’s Pokemon range from Level 57 to 62, it is recommended that the player’s Pokemon are Level 63 and above to beat them all with ease.
Even though the player will not be able to leave between battles against the Elite Four, they can still heal their Pokemon using items after every battle.
Against the Elite Four, it is recommended that the player has Pokemon with Fairy-type, Fire-type, Ice-type, Rock-type, and Water-type moves as Ice-type and Water-type moves are super effective against Rika’s Pokemon, Fire-type moves are super effective against Poppy’s Pokemon, Ice-type, and Rock-type moves are super effective against Larry’s Pokemon, and Fairy and Ice Pokemon are super effective against Hassel’s Pokemon.
Again, after defeating the Elite Four, Rika will heal all of the player’s Pokemon, which includes replenishing all of the Pokemon’s PP so the player will be completely ready against Top Champion Geeta.
Against Top Champion Geeta, it is recommended that the player has Pokemon with Bug-type and Fighting-type moves, as these Bug-type moves are super effective against Espathra, Gogoat, and Veluza. In contrast, Fighting-type moves are super effective against Avalugg, Kingambit, and Glimmora.
After defeating the Elite Four and Champion Geeta, the player has now beaten the Pokemon League, become the Champion in the Paldea region, and is the very best like no one ever was!
