The most special electricity Pokémons in this game after Pikachu are Electivire and Elekid. However, their spawn rate is extremely low, you have to keep in mind a couple of things if you want to catch them.
Most of the Electivires you will see will be males, since the male-female ratio is extremely in favor of males. Both Pokémon’s have extremely big and scary build, and can be really powerful.

Like the other Pokémon characters, each of them has a special location in which they can appear. Sometimes, conditions such as weather, air, time of year can make an impact on spawn-rate.

Both of them are electric-type Pokémons, hence the same spawn location and rate. If you get the conditions right, you’ll find one of this Pokémons really fast.

So, without further ado, let’s get to how you can catch Electivire and Elekin in Pokémon: Sword and Shield:

IMPORTANT: Make sure to have the Crown Tundra DLC if you want to do this, otherwise you can’t go to certain locations where these characters spawn.

  1. Go to Giant’s Bed. More specifically, here:how to catch elekid electivire pokemon
  2. As you can see from the weather icon, there is a thunderstorm. Well, this step is relatively boring. You have to wait until a thunderstorm starts so that Electivire and Elekin spawn.
  3. After it starts, look around chances are you will see both of them, along with some other Pokemons.
  4. We leave the next step up to you. It’s time to challenge these Pokemons. Be careful they can be really potent.

Most of the Pokémons we encountered were 78-90 level, so take that into consideration. But these are really good battle Pokémons, so it’s worth the risk!
